| Wow…I must start off by saying Camp Impact was such an experience. Everything and everyone there was so loving, fun, and just amazing people to be around with. As usual, camp is pretty much the most fun or most exciting part of my whole summer and because of that I knew I had to take many, many, many pictures…or at least try to. Since June of this summer I got my own job and have saved the money that I had been making…. well most of that money so far has gone to the purchase of a NEW digital camera I bought the day before camp started. J I was such a n00b to it that I had to take my manual to camp and get acquainted with it on the way there on the bus…tehehe. It’s all good cuz I’m a fast learner when it comes to that kind of stuff…I was soooo happy with it! I took about…140 pictures I think…I LOVE this thing…I can take so many pics and delete the oOOOoooglay ones. Sadly enough…. like on one of the days James dropped my camera…. sigh…you cannot imagine how shocked, scared, and sad I was. After it dropped I picked it back up as if it was a newborn baby…. oh mann…. I was soo disappointed. I think its ogie though cuz I have warranty on it…so WHEW!!
Camp was awesome from the beginning and like Corey who was our speaker this year was great too. God really spoke through him and it was awesome to see during reflection times when people really got what he was saying and learned something. I must say…he was HILARIOUS too…dude so many quick, random jokes from him. AND my goodness his wife is pretty… she looks soo sweet too. Too bad that I didn’t really talk to her…I was just tooooo shy about it cuz I didn’t know what to say?!?!?! Also about camp…I think this year was more active. Like the events or games that we had were funner or like people actually played along with it all and weren’t just like whatever with it. Hmm…GO TIMBERWOLVES!!!!!!!!! Yeaup-yeaup! We won the pretzel eating game…J I was totally blessed with such a good group of girls to be in a small group with… they may have been quiet at times but when we talked…we actually talked and bonded…*sigh*…good timessss. And to my brotha’s ya’ll were awesome…props out to my mommy-Yvonne Kuo and my daddy-Ed Leung. They were really easy to talk to and really tried to at least open some of us up. Special event nights were AWESOME, us Timber wolves had an awesome, errr…. interesting time experiencing being a trash compacter…. haha. My girl Christina who was my friend “sha-nay-nay” knows how to have a “bloody goot” time! Hahaha. The next day we got to have fun with team Magic and doing something relating to “hands” and “feet”…woohooo!! We got an awesome idea to do… a step dance…. for those of you who have never done this before, you have to, its soooo fun and you seriously WILL get into it…just ask the others!!!! It turned out awesome and we asked to go first because just in case if we might have forgotten it all while we waited for our turn. Hehe. I hope the rest of the group’s liked step dance J im still surprised we put all that together in ONE HOUR…but then when we actually got up there and did it…it seemed like we were only up there for like 2 seconds and we were done… Afterwards, I realized how much Dennis and I wanted to keep going…cuz we kept doing it in between performances…haha sorry people…we felt as if we didn’t do our best and wanted to do it again…we wanted an ENCORE mann.
I think that is like the fastest 5 days has ever gone by for me…so saddening. To music team people…much love to you all. Being on the team made my Impact experience so much better in so many ways. Team 2 Furious—Matt, Skwok, Paul, Ivan, Jesse, Pei-ling and me. Ya’ll are wonderful, gifted, and talented friends of mine that I loved worshiping with. Team Turbo (the other group’s name is better…haha j/k)-Dolce, Janice, JoJo, Mark, Dennis, Nathan, Alex, Cat. How can I forget ya’ll…I’m so blessed to have met all of you in such a short time made awesome friendships with ya’ll too. Team…errr…Audio?!- Like Simon said…we wouldn’t even be there or be heard if it weren’t for ya’ll.
Lastly, I just want to thank all of those who wrote me an encourage-o-gram. Many thanks and I apologize for those who I left out. If so, I just want to say that I hope you got lots out of Impact this year and encourages you to keep your faith strong and your spirit high all the days of your life. Camp was awesome. God is awesome.
