.....The Simpsons are one of the few really honest common day satires left. Most things like that, South Park for instance, are getting pretty strictly sensored. Which sucks. I especially like the parts where the family is in a situation illustrating this country's fuquered up backwoods ways of doing things.

.....Marge: "I wonder which top secret base our troops will be bombing later today in Afganistan?"

.....Homer: "I don't know, let's turn on the radio."

.....*static from the radio*"US troops will be carring out a top secret mission to bomb an area where lastest intellegence has told them is the abode of Osamma. The massive numbers required to carry out this plan will leave the Naval port of *bla bla* undermaned completely open for attack. Let's hope that the towel heads do not catch on to our plans!"
