Okay. i don't have long so this'll be a short update but it's still an update so no complaining. um.. don't take any of these quotes unless you leave me crediton your site because i wrpte them all.

6 years old and full of questions about the world;
but as she aged she realized her answers would never come.
She'd be stuck in a world of confusion;
never knowing the truth about her past.
she tries so hard to hide it under that fake smile

I spend my time traveling the world;

and trying to forget the rest of my life.

okay. sorry for the long wait. i had a an update for you yesterday but right as i was getting ready to post it our electric went out so i had to re-write everything. i've been kind of busy lately since i have to go back to school soon so it'll probably take me longer to update but i'll try and get updates up as often as possible. as always leave comments because they're what motivates me to write more.

i love the immaturity that comes with childhood.
that carefree innocence that sets us free.
But as you grow older you'll come to see,

It's an early Monday morning as the light creeps in the room;

The rain begins to fall as soon as the lights go out;
Another day of gloom is sure to come when dawn breaks

Thunder whips outside the window;
the echoes of a screaming child vibrate through the halls.
Nothings left for her anymore.
she's been abused & abandoned.

& it seems like the simplest concept;
just push them all away & you'll never get hurt.
however the simplest isn't always the most effective;
someday somebody's gonna find their way in
and then they're gonna leave you on your knees.
just like all of the other people who've gotten too close.

she's become a teenage cliche'.
trying to be someone she's not
just to impress people who will never accept her.

& she runs off in search of a meaning;
just a bit of beauty in the world may save her.
all she find is poverty and drunken leaders;
what has this world come to?

She questions the true meaning of friendship;
she knows she loves her friends but
she still can't overcome the fact that they're no stronger than her;
just mere mortals stuck in a cruel environment.
but for some reason they're unseperable.
maybe it's because best friends are people who can truly understand.

there comes a point in your life where you realize
the place you once called home has disappeared.
people leave & promises are broken
& the people who you once thought would always be there
left you torn & tattered.
with memories of happy times & a true family life.

my resumé consists of lies & heartbreak;

i often find myself wondering if people can see me suffering.
if i never explain myself to them..
can they see it in my eyes?
or am i just another person passing by;
just an acquaintence who looked just a bit blue.

she tries to escape the past life she lead
but everytime she turns around it's standing there.
she can never escape the torturous cruelty of her past.

the street lights shine down on the 8 year old children;
sleeping in boxes. they never chose this life for themselves.
it wasn't their fault that they were born into a life on the streets.

no one here is being themselves.
They're all simply trying to find a way out
& if this way includes immitating someone else
than i'd say they're well on their way to freedom.

When you're younger lies mean more to you;
i guess as you grow older you become accustomed to it;
you learn to believe that no one's ever telling the truth
or you won't survive.

winter settled in again
& the chance of escaping
became more and more vivid;
she was stuck in the cold & cruel world.

she was sent to distinguish
the difference between good & bad
but when she landed in this town,
they raped her of her joy
&& they left her to die.

The buildings all go up in flames
as the world begins to crumble;
too many people have tried to live equal lives
&& now they want revenge.

She only wanted to live her life;
without the interference of the human kind;
I guess people never get what they want;
much less what they need.

one solitary moment is all it took;
everything came crashing down in that one second;
everyone was gone and she had no memories of her past;
she stood alone.

she listens to the consistent beep of the monitor
next to her hospital bed;;
the only sign that she was still alive.

i hope you don't expect her to save you from this hell;
you landed yourself here after torturing her since she was a child.
You call it tough love but to the suffering child it was anything but.
she'll never be able to live a normal life because of you;
You're the reason why she can never keep a relationship;
she doesn't want her children to suffer through what she went through.

& the tears begin to pour
as her life begins to fade;
the sudden wish to escape this Earth
now has her on the floor;
she just became a statistic.

but no one seems to care

okay so, this entry's gunna be a little different. instead of me writing the quotes, i'm gunna post quotes from 2 of my favortie tv shows (Law & Order: svu and Crossing Jordan). this was partly inspired by the fact that i just entered a contest where a quote from a tv show was required and partly inspired by the fact that i don'thave the urge to write any quotes at the moment, but i'll probably write some tommorow and post the for you. anyways for the time being here's some quotes from svu and crossing jordan :)

Suspect: screw you.
Olivia Benson: I can screw you harder.

[Jordan is banging computer keys in frustration]
Dr. Nigel Townsend: Please evacuate the keyboard area.

Olivia Benson: You kill yourself, to make something happen. Or you do nothing and it doesn't matter. There's always another child molester. There's always another rapist. And it's like you have to sell a little piece of yourself to get the job done. So what the hell's the point?

Elliot Stabler: Maybe you shouldn't of called her honey.

Fin Tutuola: Why do we always get stuck looking for the needle in the haystack?
John Munch: Yeah, it's reminds me of the Easter egg hunts of my youth.

John Munch: I know, all those mindless hours of searching.

Macy: Jordan, next time you're called for jury duty let your shrink know. I'm sure there's a reason you should be excused.

Hey. sorry i haven't had the chance to update recently, i just got back from New York recently, but i've been kind of busy. anyway keep the comments coming and i promise i'll update soon. if i have time i'll do it tommorow, but i'm not sure because i have to baby-sit in the morning (kids annoy the crap out of me) and then after that i'm going to the gym and then i've got cross country training after that, and after that i'm going to see the midnight showing of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mans Chest because i'm obsessed with Johnny Depp. if i'm suffering from another pro-longed night of insomnia then i'll probably update tommorow night after i get back from POTC... well actually that'd be Friday morning but oh well. anyways i guarantee you an update before Saturday. i'm busy during the day on Friday too (my friends and I are going to Kings Island) so the update will probably be pretty late. but i guess i'll just update as soon as i find time to. anyways in the meantime i'm loving the comments... wow that's a long post i only meant to say thanks for the comments and that i'll update soon... i have the tendency to ramble if you haven't noticed.
