Weekly Photo Challenge--Uniforms

Uniforms

This weeks subject was suggested by Closethippie

I did a yearbook shoot in the middle of June at Kaplan College in Indianapolis. The school specializes in medical technology and all the students were dressed in scrubs. That's a uniform, right?

Weekly Photo Blog--What's on Your Head

This weeks subject is suggested by Stixandstonz

What's on your head?

This subject one was a little late kicking in for me, but I finally got it. The man in the photo is an artist named Jim Wynn, a retired University professor. He was suffering from moderate dementia at the time I took this snapshot in his studio. He was somewhat aware of the problem and had a sense of humor about it. I always thought that what was over his head symbolized his condition. He died in his sleep a couple months afterwards.

Buddha Quote

I was putting away some books today, and this page flipped open. I thought it worth passing along.

Believe nothing because a wise man said it,
Believe nothing because it is generally held,
Believe nothing because it is written,
Believe nothing because it is said to be divine,
Believe nothing because someone else believes it,
But believe only what you yourself judge to be true.
