| MemeMaybe a little late to it, but I just posted a commented in Babylon's blog, (and will be giving a quick look around to the rest) so: In your comment, post a topic for me to blog about and I'll attempt to write something readable about it. Topic can be absolutely anything you want (man am I gonna live to regret this). In return, post this meme on your blog, too. | | |
| Reason number 953 why I'm considering never having kidsMy kid would totally pull this one. Even at age 5 or so, like Ashley is in that strip... (You gotta love that evil/adorable little smirk though).
(I'm going to suffer so much from the most dreaded curse of all time... the mother's curse that goes "I hope your kids turn out just like you!!!").

| Got to hang with Miss Mikka yesterdayBefore she returns to Israel tomorrow. Twas much fun to be had, with lots of talking, catching up, a small walk in Manhattan, a longer one in Brooklyn, (including running into a few of my relatives, something I didn't exactly anticipate) getting the chance to introduce her to a few Italian cookies and some of my preferred spots in Brooklyn before having a few drinks together and calling it a night.
It was damn cool, including parts where we were trying to out-brat each other. (I think we can call that one a draw, out-bratting Mikka is kinda difficult ).
First week on the job went well... a tad bit frustrated with the somewhat slow pace of things so far, but what can you do? Things still look good though, and I like the place and its atmosphere quite a bit. It's also probably going to be the first place I'll work where I don't tend to feel pressured to put stuff people don't really need on them, which is such a relief.
So, that's all the news that's fit to print for now. Laters all.

| First day of trainingMostly listening to people talk about benefits, procedures, mission statements, etc. It's still a little trippy that I have a job at all.
Of course, the fact that I can't seem to find any of my documentation, (birth certificate, social security card, passport) may put a bit of a crimp in things...

| It's Official!I am now a Financial Services Representative with one of the local credit unions.
(Don't worry if the thought of me being in charge of people's money makes you a wee bit nervous... apparently that's a normal response ). | | |
