| finally graduated... one down, one more to goit's been a while since i last posted. a lot has happened since, just a quick update and i promise to write more when i can...
june 6, graduation :) after 6 long years, i'm finishing csula w/dual majors in nursing and health science
june 8, senior nursing class of 08' pinning ceremony, got my nursing pin (a symbol of our hard work and dedication into the prof field)
june 13, started my 1st class in kaplan prep course
june 20, turned 24 yrs old (oh god, i'm getting old)
dates to look out for:
aug 1st, my NCLEX license exam
sept 8th, my 1st day of work at CHLA :)

| CHLA wants me :)ahhh!! i'm so excited, CHLA, my first choice hospital called me back for a job position. so starting in sept i'll be working in their NICU!! :)
important dates coming up
*june 6th - graduation
*june 8th - pinning ceremony dinner for the nursing c/o 08'
*june 20 - my 24th bday
*july - dunno when but i'll be taking my board exam
*sept 8th - the 1st day and the start of my career

| nothing much that's going on. the qtr is almost over, 3 more wks to go :) i have one more day at CHLA for my preceptorship. i really enjoy working w/babies~ I'm thinking that the NICU is what i wanna do... but i still have plenty of time to figure that stuff out.
I had dinner at the boiling crab. it's soo good there =d~ here are a few pics.

| it's been a while since i lasted blogged so here are a few updates:
i started my preceptorship at CHLA doing night shifts. my first nite, someone gave me an advice to nap a few hrs before heading into work. i tried but didnt succeed in doing so, so i was draggin the whole nite. i normally go to bed around 11 so once that hr hit, i was fighting to stay awake. i swore that they were playin w/my mind cuz they kept the unit dark, all the lights off besides one and turned up every baby lullaby they had. hahaha
already the 5th wk of the qtr (i'm so over it), i'm really just counting down the months until graduation.
gotta find a place to intern at for health science (really not looking forward to it). last classes for this major and done w/that! *dust hands*
went to the white memorial med. center for their open house (got a free stethoscope :D for being on of the 1st 20 ppl there) it's a nice place to work.. i'll think more about it later.
regina really got me hooked on yelp. it's a place where ppl write reviews on businesses, restuarants etc. they have events where these ppl goes out and eat dinner or just hang out at bars. it's actually really fun and i'm looking forward to their next one which is korean bbq~ yum!
and for some reason... i'm having a really hard time trying to sleep at the moment... oh well, that's all for now :D

| ehh fall qtr starts....awww man fall started today. well 9 more months to go....
