Music

After being on and off piano lessons since fourth grade, I've finally started giving a shit about music. As in, I'm going to start learning about theory and scales and all that nice/boring stuff (I found out the other day that flats and sharps always come in the same order! :O) now. My first years at piano were just a bunch of kids learning to play keys on the piano, and as I recalled the situation was barely ever serious. I mean seriously. I made another kid cry because he claimed he could play this one song the fastest since he played it about twice as fast as everyone else, and then I played it three times as fast as he did. (What the hell is that?) My flute teacher started pushing me to learn to read music and learn theory after a year or two, but by then I was already bored with flute, since the keys didn't come in any intuitive pattern and the blowing techniques were something that didn't work with me (probably because I had underbite?). And after another two years at piano, after attempting to just memorize songs, I found out a few days ago that I needed to start learning what everyone else learned.

I lost my ability to memorize.

Just like that.

Who knows?

I've been playing RPG's for a while, so I decided to change it up a bit. I'm playing a free FPS now, called "Combat Arms", and I have an okay kill/death ratio (meanders between 1 and .80). If anyone else plays it or is going to play it, let me know and we'll play sometime.
