Universal Studios We went on a tour, first we saw the removal of the fire damaged portion of the studio lot. Then we saw some set props, like the car from Animal House As well as the floaty thing from Serenity, and other cool movies Then the tour drove right in to the mayhem of the War of The Worlds set where the plane crashed into some houses. After the tour, we descended from the hill into Jurassic Park. There were Thunder Lizards all over, Travis almost didn't make it. Kate and I rode on the Mummy ride, it was pretty awesome, but they had these mummy dudes on stilts stalking around all creepy like. I fired off a shot of this guy, he was trying to tell me to get in a better position for a picture, but I was confused, you can tell Travis and Kate were just as confused, by where they're pointing. After that, we rounded off the day by watching the Waterworld show, it was fucking amazing, fireworks, and gun shots for like 20 minutes, huge fireballs and a seaplane. I mean, this seaplane, they launched like 40 feet up in the air, straight at the crowd, it hit the water, and Travis and I had a mutual feeling of impending doom. luckily it smacked the water and coasted into the dock, instead of turning us into hamburger. Then Kate wanted to get a temporary tattoo, I was persuaded and Travis was too! So we al got Temp tats, from left to right, Travis, Me, Kate. Travis and Kate were being super cute, as illustrated by this picture as we were leaving the park.
Day 3 - More beach
As it turns out, I really really like the beach, it's sand, it's warm, it's soft, what's not to like? I made a sand face, and in what might of been sarcasm, (doubtful) a passerby complemented me on it. Travis was somewhat hesitant to getting near the surf. Good Times
**Bonus** Here's a panorama from Day 1's trip to the Hollywood Bowl, which also kicked ass.
