| Americans are so concerned with their own personal safty that they've turned their backs on this country and this planet.They put an American flag on their SUV and figure they've done their part.They're more concerned with FEARDOMS than our FREEDOMS(hey,that's pretty good!)so lets stop with the "FREEDOMS#1"bullshit.America is not #1.We're like#11 or #12.For the 19 percent of americans who havent travelled are outside this country (such as George W Bushbefore he bacame "elected"),there are several countries that are arguably better than this one. I would put Australia,Canada,sweden,Holland,and Denmark on the top of the list for sure.Some of these countries have all the freedoms the u.s has plus a whole lot more of 'em(prostitution,socialized medicine,euthanasia,gay marraige,legalized recreate law drugs ,gay military enlistemnt etc)Dont get me wrong,#12 is still pretty damn good out of over 250 countries,but there's still a lot more room for improvement..

| hello...i havent been here in along time.Its kindda boring.Presindents week yessssss.speaking of presidents.President Bush proclaimed a bold,even revolutionatry,foreign policy in his in augural address thursday,but he offered no specifics about how he plans to rid the world of tyranny.what the fuck?Which tyrants he will target or what other foreign or domestic goals he might be willing to sacrifice to promote freedom.His declaration of "the ultimate goal of ending tyranny in our world" was reminisecent of predecessors from Woodrow Wilson to Ronald Ragon,and especialy of Jhon F. Kennedy's 1961 pledge to "pay any price,bear any burden ,meet any hardship,suport any friend,oppose any foe,in the success of liberty."BUT!while Wilson,Ragon,and kennedy argued that America should battle tyranny because doing so is right. A "day of fire" had proved that oceans and borders are no longer enough to ensure America's safty,Bush toled tens of thousands of spectators.Now,he said .the nation must work to expand freedom and end tyranny everywhere if our own liberties are to survive.BS!""We are led,by events and common sence,to one conclusion:The survival of liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other lands.The best hope for peace in our world is the expansion of freedom in all the world,"he said..he took care to streets that his expand-freedom doctrine doesnt mean that America will impose its will on our other nations by military. | | |
| hmm.today was ok.Me and my brother were filming so im kindda tired,we're not finished yet,but we will!I woke up this moring and i thought it was tuesday,so i started getting dressed,when my mom walked in and shes like "its saturday alejandra!"I felt like an idiot.all the time i was waisting getting dressed when i could have been sleeping.Im such a tard.so.yeah that was pathetic.and now im sitting here listening to queen..teehee im such a dork | | |
| ughhhhh.well this week was ok i guess.At least we have a 3 day weekend.YESSSSSSS.I didnt really do anything today.I just went to tacobell with april,nick,and melissa.mmmm.good burritos.then after that we went to melissas.then i went home....and now im here.shya..pretty boring.But i'l think of something to do during the weekend.I hope.we have the bloody finals next week...ive been studying my mexican ass off,so im like reallllllllllly tired. | | |
