the day in between (part 1)I started this blog on Saturday... oh well! Now, it will end up being the first part of a weekend recap... an eventful weekend, mind you! Thursday evening, Byron and I had the opportunity to go to the nursing school pinning service for Jeffrey, the son of my dear friend, LouAnne. I can hardly believe he's graduated and gonna have a real job, LOL! You see, I have known Jeff since he was a precocious six-year-old! Can I just say how proud I am of him? He's heading off on a "graduation adventure" for a few days, then he's got a job working as an RN in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit.) Jeff with his dad, Ken (also an RN) and his brother, Brandon (handsome and kind men all!)
Here I am at the H&C Salon. Hannah (7) and her lil brother, Corban (2) are 'styling' my hair. (they are both younger siblings of Jeff and Brandon.) When they were finished, I still had hairs attached to my head, hehe! They are both so adorable!
Congratulations, Jeffrey! I think you are G-R-E-A-T! and wish you all the best in your new venture! (photos courtesy of LouAnne) |
