the day in between (part 1)

I started this blog on Saturday... oh well!  Now, it will end up being the first part of a weekend recap... an eventful weekend, mind you!

Thursday evening, Byron and I had the opportunity to go to the nursing school pinning service for Jeffrey, the son of my dear friend, LouAnne.  I can hardly believe he's graduated and gonna have a real job, LOL!  You see, I have known Jeff since he was a precocious six-year-old!  Can I just say how proud I am of him?  He's heading off on a "graduation adventure" for a few days, then he's got a job working as an RN in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit.)

Jeff with the Blue Like Jazz book we gave him for graduation

Jeff with his dad, Ken (also an RN) and his brother, Brandon
(handsome and kind men all!)

Here I am at the H&C Salon.
Hannah (7) and her lil brother, Corban (2) are 'styling' my  hair.
(they are both younger siblings of Jeff and Brandon.)
When they were finished, I still had hairs attached to my head, hehe!
They are both so adorable!

Congratulations, Jeffrey!  I think you are G-R-E-A-T! and wish you all the best in your new venture!

My first visiting nursing students included Cory who has since graduated and his father was also in the medical field. This is such a great opportunity for these young men. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed the pictures!

How did I miss your blog?! I don't think you're coming up in my SIRs for some reason?!

The kids and I discussed it and we're ready for you to come back now! Love you bunches!
