2007so, havent wrote on here for a long time...but i guess its time for a recap of all the things God has blessed me with this past year, whether good or bad. looking back at what i wrote last year that i wanted to do/my goals, some of them were kinda stupid -Chris Tomlin concert (check)
-get my license (check)
-turn 18 (kinda stupid cuz its not something i want to do, it will happen anyways, but check)
-go to sjsu (check)
-get baptized (check)
-battlecry (check)
-winter retreat/family retreat (check)
-lead worship for whole congregation for the first time (check)
-keep my gpa above 3.0 (not check)
-keep in touch with friends (kinda check)
-continue to be in stronger relationship with God, family, friends...(half check)
i havent been updating much on xanga, so there are many things which i forgot that had happen already, but yea. i guess i'll just list out the things/people that impacted my life the most. Cumberland Presbyterian Chinese Church Family- So on March 11, i was officially inducted into the church family. it was just a great day, with all my friends and family there to support me. happy that 5 of my school friends came, and just got a taste and view of what baptism was like and just how church was like basically. Battlecry- i dont remember much particularly about the whole event, but it was a cool time, to be with friends, and learn to become a "stalker" of God. i got this cool arithnostic t-shirt with neilson. Prom- my first ever dance. yes. i never went to any other dances in middle school or high school. had an experience i probably wont forget. had a tough time at first, but finally got to go. really expensive, but yea. it was pretty good i guess. i think it was the latest i ever stayed out till. (besides at someone's house for a sleepover) My 18th Birthday- i had my birthday at school. so i got a little cake thing from karen, and we had graduation rehearsal that day. we also had our senior luncheon that day. it was like a birthday meal to me. haha. Graduation- even though all the people that i wanted to come to my graduation didnt come, i'm still happy for the ones that came. we had a good time, and they made me smile and stuff. haha. and then we hung out and ate at ABC afterwards. and it was the finally the first time i could drive them legally. haha. steph also gave me a bunch of weed flowers and put them on my windshield of the car. June-August- 2nd year of volleyball, 4th year of softball. we were C division champs again for softball, and we had a lot more players this year. our volleyball had a lot more people also and decided to split into two teams. i was on the J-Tree team aka No Names. our expectation was only to win double our games last year, which would be to win 14, and we even almost doubled the expectation. wheee. fun. SJSU- began on August 23, and everything was pretty cool from there. i had a lot of free time between my classes and i dont really do anything but stay inside. i got a tv after like a couple months, and then its all tv and computer and sleep now. had to go on a major spending spree because i had a lot left at the end of the semester and i had to use it up. Christmas- i did what i did with presents this year again like last year. more people, meant more candy, but yea. one major part that stood out to me was helping the homeless on the day after Christmas. scary, but they need it. Neilson- always there to listen to my night calls. heh. Jasmin- so yea. met her in volleyball. cool girl. yea. according to my mom, she kinda changed me... Gloria- Princess =] glad all the issues were solved. thats probably all i have for this year's recap. i'm glad that God has blessed me this past year. its just exciting to know that theres more ahead and more to look foward to. =] |
