Congratulations Sunny and Kat, who are now engaged (FINALLY) and purchased their own first home. I'm so happy for you guys. Good luck and blessings and all that. Remember, I'm still gonna be Uncle Ricky if you'll have me...so when am I gonna see some nephews and nieces?!

With Sunny and Kat's next step in life, I've realized that Goddamn we're old now. It seemed like yesterday when we're still in high school...ditching at lunch, fighting, getting into shit, and drinking like there was no other worry in the world.You'll always see your friends the next day at school. Nowadays, with everyone so busy with their own business, consider it lucky if you can see a few of them every few months.

I'd hate to admit it and never thought I would say it but....I MISS SB. I miss the weather, the almost carefree school life, the ability to sleep in should I ever choose to, the hot white chicks on campus and around the neighborhood, riding Charlie or Kevin's bikes to class, even the damn 2 mile round trip walk to and from class. Most of all, I miss the great people I've met in my four years there...Jackson, Charlie, Peggy, Jina, Kevin, Richard, Diddy, Lena, and whoever else I've missed.

Currently, I'm going through a phase of just wanting to stay home. I don't really feel like going out nor putting up the front in order to go clubbing. I've become a home body. The parentals are getting old, gotta spend more time with them while I can before its too late, God forbid. As my parents grow older, they seem to be more and more like kids. Hehe. Although we have our differences from time to time, I love them to death. Although my mother nags at me every morning as she drives my dui-ass to work, deep down I appreciate her for that. I can't seem to find the voice to tell her that in person, thus, Xanga is my voice. My brother is hitting the critical stage in high school life now...yes...SATs and college apps. Everytime I ask him what he's interested in, he tells me, "I don't know." It worries me, but then again, the first 2 years of college IS to discover your own interests and direction. I just hope that he doesn't take as long and make as many mistakes as I have in discovering his true calling.

Last but not least, Congratulations to my cousins Chao Su and Yu Yin on their marriages, the first ones of my generation to get hitched. Also, further congrats to Chao Su for the birth of a beautiful baby boy...the first nephew of my gen. Next, I'd like to congratulate my cousin Cory for getting engaged...ps...does your fiancee have a little sis that might be available? Haha...grats and love you guys.

Wow, so it's almost been 7 months since my last post. I kinda forgot how to work Xanga a little. Anyways so YES, this is my last quarter at SB...I'm serious this time. Haha. Still not sure of my post-college plans yet. The general idea is to move back to LA, work, study for LSATS, and take some accounting and Japanese classes at PCC. Haven't been doing much lately besides school, wow, and hanging out with the gf. Niballs came back to visit after two years. It was great to see him again and meet his roommate Treg. And also grats to Niballs who's got himself hitched finally...lol. Looks like the fam is making another trip to Oregon this year for Christmas. I gotta go check out the ski parks there this time. Snowboarding season is here! Who's with me? Lemme know if anyone's going, I'll be there. Anyways, it's time to pack and hop on the train. Until next time, who knows when that'll be...

Hey, folks! Yep, it's that time again. XANGA UPDATE. Honestly, I don't even know if anybody actually reads this damn thing anymore.

Anyways, so the Taiwan vs. China mini-feud (only for fun, of course) has escalated to the next level.

Jackson and I, aka Taiwan, proceeded to take over the microwave. As you can see, we jacked it from the kitchen and put it under Jackson's desk.

We then made a sign that said, "Dear fuckin' Chinaman (Charlie), Taiwan has taken over the microwave. In order to use it, you must pay respects to the Taiwanese flag."

AND THEN...the next day...we catch the 'skanlous' Chinaman using the microwave without paying the proper respects...

Damn, the real Taiwan and China feud in Asia ain't got nuttin' on us...we play ruthless in this apartment!! HAHA

Thank you for accompanying a rowdy group of boys since elementary school and watching over us as we grew into men. Thank you for always greeting us at the door with such enthusiasm that it brings a smile to all of our faces. Thank you for being there for all of us that night as we all cried together one last time the summer everyone left for college. And years later, one by one, as each of us came home, you were always there to welcome us back. It is truly our loss, especially that of Chris and his family, now that you've moved on. Truly missed, and always remembered. Rest in peace.
