Change

I've noticed a lot of changes lately. Mostly from the people surrounding me such as family and friends, both good and bad. We have all either entered college or on the verge of starting their first year and i think that college changes us all. It certainly has for me and i think that college does change people. It gets people ready for the real life that lies ahead of them such as starting a career or getting a job or starting a family.  it prepares us for the challenges that lie ahead of us. It makes us more mature in life. But what i've noticed is that some people are doing the opposite of that. Instead of maturing up, they are just being more immature in that they think that what they are doing now is cool and makes them want to fit in. Sure it might've made them more popular in high school but we are all college students now. Immaturity is suppose to be outgrown and we learn from other people on how to become more mature. But i think that those people are blind sighted by it that they don't even care. I know that we all have this moment in college where we all try to fit in by trying out new things. this could be such as meeting new friends, joining a club or drinking. To them, at that moment, they may think that drinking is something they must do in order to fit into college. Ok i have to admit i have drank in college but not to the point that i would drink every week to impress my friends that i can outdrink them or i get wasted to prove to my friends i drink. Who thinks that way. Who wants to get wasted and have that horrible hangover feeling. I've only gotten drunk twice and both times i felt soo horrible that i told myself i would learn from my mistakes. Sure i was immature then but now that i have realized that alcohol does not always make people fit it. I know some people who like to drink every week and get wasted and maybe some people everyday. Ok i know to them it may seem fun but who are they trying to prove to? Are they trying to prove to us that we can also fit in? And what makes me feel so fustrated is that they used to be very mature people before but now they have changed to the point that they are doing almost everything. I know it is something they enjoy but would they enjoy it if they wake up one day and regretting what they did? Do they ever think about that when they actually do the things they are doing? I always tell people to never regret what they do. they might not regret it then but they will surely regret it later. I mean they aren't only hurting themselves by increasing their risk of dependancy, but they are also hurting and worrying people that are close to them. I don't think they realize their own changes to realize how much they have drift away from all of us. I don't think they realize that their friends are always constantly looking out for them that they don't even bother to care our existance. I mean seriously, what are they doing to their lives? We are at the point of our lives where the choices we make will affect us for the rest of our lives. It could either be which classes to take to taking that 15th shot of vodka. Seriously, i know i haven't been voicing my opinions that much but now i am and i am sick and tired of it that i've already lost the will to even care about them. sometimes we need to think about others because thats what friends are for. They are there for you in support or there for you to tell you what not to do. This makes me want to strenghten friendship bonds that i have lost in high school and make me want to care to the point that they won't do anything bad. And i want them to know that i care about them to the point that they will realize it and return the favor if i ever do anything that makes them worried. What i just want from them is to mature up to adults that i can tolerate in the future. And i hope the do it fast because time is not a limitless thing in life.

Enough of that. On to other stuff. 2008 Beijing Olympics. I just love it. Even though i am an American citizen, i feel this pride for China because i am chinese. So sometimes i root for the Chinese even though i know people will tell me that i should root for America. haha. i don't know, maybe im too chinese that i don't have enough american pride. haha. And that Michael Phelps, he is a freaking dolpin!! He is soo crazy!! Anyways summer is winding down to the last month and stuff has been happening here and there. I miss my old friends that i want to go actually visit them. Maybe i'll take a road trip with friends to go visit them. I miss them dearly. haha. and i am going to Japan and Taiwan for winter break. I am soo freaking excited for it that i can't stop thinking about it. I'm soo excited to go to Japan for the first time and also super excited to go to Taiwan again. I miss it soo much that i constantly remember by 2 month stay at Taiwan last year. It's almost been a year since i've been back. I can't stop thinking about it. haha. And im going to be more excited cuz im going to stay over for new years and i will be able to see the New Years Fireworks on Taipei 101!!! sooo friggggin excited!!!!! And i have never celebrated new years in another state or country before. that makes it more exciting!!! hahaha! O my its going to be EPIC!!!

Anyways enough of that, Let's see how summer plays out. I hope its going to be an ok summer with no problems. can't wait to move into my Apartment in Irvine in Sept. going to be soo much fun!!!!! and my sophmore year of college. going to be very excited! I am excited for life and what is ahead of me!!

Sometimes I feel I want to run away to a place where no one knows me or have any connection to me. Somewhere that they won't judge me for who I am.  I think i've been too stressed lately with everything including school, family, and friends.  Sometimes i feel that i need a vacation where i just need to be alone for a few days to some weeks.  This will clear out somethings in my head that have been bothering me

Lately i've noticed that the friends i consider friends aren't really friends at all.  They are just people i know.  For example people at Irvine.  They are people in my hall.  Some of them are really nice and those are the friends i actuallly consider friends.  but i realized that some of them are not.  Some of them are really selffish in that i did not notice when i actually first met them.  but their true colors show out once they feel like you are their friend.  For example there are these two people in my dorm.  They tend to not talk with other people in our dorm but we know who they are.  But they like to be amongest themselves. They feel that they are the cool group and we're the outsiders.  They only do things that they want or like to do without even considering other people's feelings.  For example i decided to take some people to RA Sushi yesterday in Irvine cuz its good. but they decided to not tell me in advance that they did not want to go. so i was like WTF cuz i had planned it along time.  and instead i had to find out from someone else 3 hours before we were suppose to go.  Naturally i was really pissed.  So i decided to hang out with my true friends at irvine that day and there was a carnival that day so i was like whatevers. then around 6 they call me and they say when are we going to go. and i was like uhhhhh. didn't you say you didn't want to go. so i ignored their calls. so my other friend calls me and tells me that they are going to invite their friend, someone i don't know, without asking me. its usually polite to ask the person if they can invite some to someone's event you know. So i was pissed because first they didn't want to go, then now they want to go and bring someone i don't know? thats just fucking messed up and very low. And also i invited my very best friend from irvine and she was at the carnival but she was getting a charcatature (sp?) and it was going to take a while. and we needed to go by happy hour. which ended at 7. so i felt really bad for leaving her behind. and at the same time the two people didn't even care about leaving her behind. i mean they are friends with her too. They are very selffish snobs that don't even care about anyone else but themselves. They don't even consider how i feel. i was very mad at first and i was going to forgive them. but i decided not to because they decided to just ruin my feelings. and still they don't know what they did. they still think that what they did was alright because they think that im cool with it. but no im not cool with it. and what was even ruder what that they didn't even introduce the person to me. so i was really angry. And i felt really bad for my best friend so i ended up buying her a large pinkberry for her. She really wanted the tempura ice cream. haha. anyways

Ya and to even mess things up, i got two drunk prank calls from 2 girls yesterday at 1 in the morning. i was very pissed but luckily i was still awake. who ever called me are god damn bitches. ever heard of the word Respect? Sorry i feel like im making the atmosphere all negative. I just wanted to tell my feelings to people and show people that i am not someone to be played around with as if i have no feelings.  I deserve to be treated like everyone else. i deserve some respect. I am human with feelings afterall. 

anyways enough blabbering.  freshmen year of college is almost over! wow. i can't believe it! it went by so fast that now i think back about it, im going to truly miss it. got to spend these last few weeks wisely then!

Spring break

Well I am nearly done with my freshmen college experience! One more quarter to go and then good old Summer! and summer school at elco so I don't have to take those breadth classes at Irvine. haha.

Well Spring break was actually soo much fun this year. This was the first year that i actually did someTHING almost everyday. Well on Saturday the 22nd, I hung out with Kaori and Layla at the mall and chilled there for a good 3 hours. Caught up with some good old times. Then after that i came home and people called me up to go eat Pho! Yum! Then after that we came to my place cuz we got a brand new HDTV and my brother bought ROCKBAND! haha. Super fun! we played till to 12 in the morning! FUN! Then sunday went to alberstons to buy some drinks for Lisa's pool party which was fun cuz was it was super hot and we needed that cooling fresh looking water pool. It was fun! After that we went to eat at Mitsuwa which was fun! ate udon! YUM! ASIAN food. haha. Monday I decided to go visit west which was cool. Saw those precious Seniors again! my they have grown up and changed soo much! haha. Too bad I didn't get to say hi to some of my favorite teachers. O wellz. I'll go visit during summer break! haha. After that we went to eat at Thai food which was cool! after that, Me cathy, and dennis went over to dennis's place and watched Take the Lead which was cool! Very interesting! Came home and played some more Rockband with my brother's friends! I love playing the Drums and the Bas guitar! Tuesday we went to six flags which was awesome! there was literally no wait! well except for Tatsu. boo i wanted to ride that flying ride! haha. After that we went to Guppies and ate food! YUM! but we got there around like 10 cuz of traffic! There was a huge accident that happened like 1 minute before us and we ddin't know so we stayed hoping it would clear up. It was sooo stressful being in back to back traffic! haha. Came home around 12 and slept cuz i was super tired from riding all those extreme rides! Wednsday i went to the Beach with Layla Narie Cari and Dennis, we went to Casa Arigatou which was nice! then headed to the beach and dug a hole. pretty fun! burried narie's legs. then headed to Victor Park and did various things. After that we went to Spoon House and ate spagetti! YUM! Thursday i didn't do that much. I stayed home but i washed the car, prewaxed, polished, and waxed the car. Did i mention it was a van so it took me a total of 5 hours to do all of that. my arms were soo tired from all that rubbing! BUILD MUSCLES! haha. Friday i hung out with myungy, lisa and eric cuz myungy got her liscense. Lucky butt. haha. im probably gonna get mine soon. hopefully! We went to various places like RA sushi, visited Sky, Starbucks, then we went to Pinkberry, then stopped by Koraku to see Vin and Tami and friends, then went to Famima, chilled there for about an Hour, then went to Mcdonalds and chilled there with a lot of people. Saw Aiko and Yousif! fun fun!!! then went back home and slept. Friday i made okonomiyaki then hung out with lisa narie, eric and dennis. went to eat soon dobu, then went to dennis's house to play super smash brawl which was fun. im still getting used to the controls. but i still like rockband better! haha. then after that came home and ate. The some people from Irvine called me up and we hung out at 9. Went to the beach got a ticket, I feel bad for the driver. then went to Famima, hung out for a bit, then went to Barns and nobles and hung out till closing time. then we drove to Long beach where the queen mary is and hung out there. Its a really nice place at night. too bad we got there too late. Then came back around 1 and then i slept. Sunday did practically nothing except pack and go back to Irvine. yep yep. A very eventful spring break! i wish it was longer! School just makes me depressed and the thought of my wisdom teeth coming out is making me more stressed, i got to get those out ASAP! haha. anyways i can't wait for summer to come! I really can't wait! I can't wait to hang out, feel the summer heat, go to the beach during summer and go back to Taiwan and see my relatives! gosh i miss that place! I think about it everyday! There has not been one day that i have not thought about going back! i wish i could leave now!!!!!!! TAKE ME NOW! hahahha. But i also want to go to Japan!!!! im probably gonna study abroad there summer 2009! i can't wait. or i might go during winter break with kaori and other people! i want to go to Japan with friends and i want to bring friends with me to Taiwan! Show there all the places!!! Its gonna be soo much fun! but that probably won't happen until we all graduate. Maybe Senior year of college summer. oOo sounds soo much fun! haha.

Anyways im hoping that spring quarter will be a little better than Winter Quarter, I wish i got into the classes i wanted this quarter. Sigh. o wellz im just taking classes that i think are interesting. hopefully i like the enough that i might minor in them. Anyways enough xangaing, back to reading. sigh, this is what happens when you have spring breakitis or should i say Summeritis!
