I finally finished mixing and mastering all 22 songs of The Banana Factor Stuff! I'm really excited about the release of this cd not to mention the reunion show. Luke is talking about getting Son Of Alf and BPC to play with us, that would be amazing. I'm thinking that show will be happening around Christmas time. I asked my boss for a real position and he told me that there are no open positions. I gtg, I will finish later...

ok I'm back. So I went surfing on Monday, it was so awesome. The waves were crap at the place I normally go so I went on a search for a better break. I had heard a lot about this place called deal, so I headed down ocean ave looking for it. I finally found it after looking stopping at 3 different places. Sure enough the waves were breaking there and I had the waves all to myself. The place is really crazy looking there is this old abandoned boro building at the end of the street peering onto the ocean. There is a sand bar reaching across the break with 3 huge jetties extending out. I had to climb down some rocks to get to the water cause there was no real beach the water basically comes up to a rock wall. I swam out and imediately started catching some waves. The waves were small but because of the sand bar the undertoe was strong enough to make the waves ridable. It was just about dusk so the sun was setting over the land. I got out and smoked a clove sitting out on one of the Jetties. It felt like I was in a dream everything was so beautiful, the sun on my back, the wind on my face, the waves crashing under the rocks, I was at peace.

I've been super busy lately, thus I haven't updated in forever. Becky from AZ and Katelyn came up to visit me this past weekend. It was awesome, we had so much fun. We went to the beach on saturday then to Manhattan by night. It was fun we basically walked around china town and little Italy. Katelyn and I spent hours in the Hot tub back at my house, our hands and feet were so pruny. Sunday we went back into the city this time taking the train in instead of driving. We went on the top of the empire state building, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Central Park, Times Square, then to a blues club were they willingly served us alcohol :) When we were in Central Park we watched a guy get robbed it was really sad. He was one of those street venders and a group of big thugs came and stole his money bag and started tossing it back and forth like monkey in the middle. It was really mean. I'm not sure if they took it finally cause we were walking by when this was all going on so we just kept walking trying not to stare. Monday we went into the city again but this time we did downtown. We took the subway down to Wall Street, that was pretty cool. Then we went to Ground Zero, that was really upsetting, but I'm really glad I got to see it. There was this guy who had a canvas with "no love for bush" written on it really big and I signed it and gave him a donation and got my picture with him, we waved at the CIA building, it was fun. After that we went to go to Ellis Island and visit Lady liberty but the ferrys had stopped running for the day, so we took a ferry to staten Island instead and it passed right by lady liberty. Then we got in the subway and got really lost, it was really frustrating but Katelyn pulled through for us and figured it out. I was ready to give up and walk instead. We made our way up to little italy and had dinner at a pretty nice restaurant where we learned that there is no smoking in any restaurant in New York. I couldn't believe that. After that I took them up to the studio were I work, they enjoyed it and we played 3 rounds of pool, it was fun katelyn was excited that you could smoke in there. :) That just about concluded our night and the girls drove home that night, it was about 2am. It was a lot of fun I must say.

I'm too frustrated about this topic to talk about it so I'm gonna let my good friend Jack sing about it instead.

I was reading a book
Or maybe it was a magazine
Suggestions on where to place faith
Suggestions on what to believe
But I read somewhere
That you've got to beware
You can't believe anything you read
But the good Book is good
And that's well understood
So don't even question
If you know what I mean

But it's all relative
Even if you don't understand
Well it's all understood
Especially when you don't understand
And it's all just because
Even if we don't understand
Then lets all just believe

So I didn't make it up to longbranch last night :(  The Jetta hasn't been going into 1st or 2nd gear easily lately.  Last night on my drive to Dans house I couldn't get the car into 1st or 2nd at all it was horrible.  I was thinking I was in 1st when I was really in 3rd and I kept stalling in the middle of the intersections.  So I pulled over and called my dad, after a while of talking to him I figured out a way to make the car go into first so I was able to make it back to keyport and then today I drove the car home.  My dad is going to look at it.  I'm bummed I missed yet another day of work because of car problems... grrr.   oh well.     Anyway so I'm home back in pitman hoping to go surfing with adam some day this week, should be fun.  Give me a call I should be around until at least wednesday because I have that eye appointment.

After work tonight I'm going over my friends house in Long Branch, should be fun, he's haveing some friends over. I gotta work tomorrow again from 3-8, it's not bad at all.  I'm just bummed that I can't really come home for the weekend, oh well.  I have an eye appointment on wednesday of next week, so I will be home for that.  Currently I have no schedule for next week, I will just leave a note for my manager I guess.  Sunday morning I think I'll hit up the waves, that'll be my church.  Becker if you want to go e-mail me.  I still have to check the forcast for sunday tho.  Still got politics and religion on the brain. I listened to a christian radio station on my way to work today, it was pretty cool, but I'm still unsure about the whole thing.  Oh well I will let time do its thing, if I'm ment to believe it will happen, if not then I won't - I'm not going to worry about it.  I really enjoy the ocean tho, I feel very at peace out there I feel like it's were I'm ment to be. I don't know how to explain it.  The ocean is so strong and powerful, if you fight it it will kick your ass but if you let it take you were it wants you to go you'll find that it can be very gentle and accepting.  She won't just let you ride one of her waves she has to know that you know who's boss, and you respect her. I'm not sure you can understand unless you have spent hours just sitting with her and listening to her sing. It's really an amazing thing.  The Ocean is so facinating, it's a whole other world.  We as humans know more about the surface of the moon than the floor of the ocean.  I want to scuba dive to see some of this virtually unexplored world.  One day, I'm sure.  Hope everyone has a good weekend. Peace.
