I am in Vietnam as I type these words. We are building memories. On of the primary side benefits of this trip will be the fact that I'll be able to look at people and say, "Back in Nam,(fill in the blank)...", with complete sincerity. Hello The World...
Life is such a roller coaster isn't it? One day I'm happy, really joyfully so. And the next I'm more overwhelmed than I know how to handle... and then I'm happy again or indifferent or involved. I can't fault the Creator for such a vast array of emotions... Obviously options are important... however, it's kind of like I don't get choose between the traction control or the side impact airbag. They just show up in my life when I wake up and the airbag may deploy without warning at any time...

That's one reason emotions can't dictate who I am going to be. I am learning who God says I am. And I've decided to the best of my ability that I'm going to be that, regardless of whether or not I down-shift unexpectedly or the seatbelt gets stuck.

Life is going to take us all for a ride. I guess this is living...

Viva la tour!
