Wow, so I feel absolutely terrible about never updating this (ok, so I wouldn't go that far), but I have fallen prey to the clutches of the evil facebook and the art of stalking people I once knew and would like to know. I guess if I want to share thoughts with people this is the way to do it, but since my mind is empty, I guess I will stick to facebook! So wow, time flies regardless of if you are having fun or not.... February is the time of year that throws me into one of those restless, mind altering moods... I think its the elaborate way of saying I have extreme cabin fever. Cure? Well I know an exoctic vacation would be a real fast one... since that is not in the cards for me right now- I will just turn up my space heater, put on some flip flops and stare at my computer wallpaper... ok, so I do this all the time... there has to be some other solution for the restlessness! Any suggestions?

ok- not even funny... my car died again... I borrowed a car from a friend for the weekend and guess what... haha... I think it is about to die too... well the radio is breaking everytime I touch it... and that is what always goes first... haha... don't let me near your car, unless you want it to die!! I felt like I was attending a car funeral last night, as I watched pathetically as yet another vehicle in my possession was loaded on to its automobile herst in search of a morgue, well we shall see what the remedy will be in a few hours, although I have been waiting all day to hear the bad news. Ah... woe is me... or my car. Yeah definitely all cars...

Wow, So what can I say after a "vacation" such as the one that I just experienced... there are no words left in my exhausted and completely overstrained body! For those of you who might not be familiar with the "exciting" tale, I will share the extremely briefed version of my first real life vacation... Well it all starts Thanksgiving day, being the car murderer that I am, killed a car on none other than Rt. 95... waited 2 hours for a tow truck as traffic flew by! Well of course absolutely nothing was open to fix the car, so like extreme vagabonds we (Kelly, Sarah, Jimmy and I) trucked, I mean hiked... down the road a half a mile to a hotel... nice place... anyways... no food and by that I really mean no food anywhere to be found.... well thank God for Wal-green's and cardboard dinners- haha- what a feast, let me just tell ya!! ok on with the story... Car DEAD... its not going home with us to VA... wow... what now, well thank God for rental cars, nice new car, phew...

Well thought the problems were over, but ya just gotta love the state of NC... 3 o'clock in the morning, I receive a speeding ticket, well not just a ticket, a summons to appear in court, no other option, on a Thursday in Jan.... really nice guy (that was extreme sarcasm for those of you who may have missed it), especially after I tell him the whole story of my botched vacation and spoiled Thanksgiving... ever hear of mercy, Sir??

Finally back home in VA in the comfort of familiar places, ah Mom and Dad, never so relieved to see them in my life, it was like the feeling of being home from your first day of kindergarten... time to go again gotta get back to work in PA... leave Sunday night, for home, why does the battery light come on in my car? hmm... maybe cause I am about to murder another CAR! Sure enough hot traffic on 81 stopped due to an accident... makes my car stop completely and shut down... almost got hit by a semi, who then saved the day well sort of... got to ride in the first big rig of my life time and learn all the tricks of the trade with who I like to refer to as "Eminem"... maybe I will take up truck driving? Finally the wonderful Sheriff's Dept comes to my rescue!!! How is it that cops in VA are so great compared to NC... I love VA!! (never thought I would say that...)

Long story short, well as though this is short or something, haha, need new battery and alternator, once again nothing open, get home at 4 o'clock in the morning, run back down to fix the car Monday, used my first sick day ever in my entire life, second most expensive alternator that the shop has ever seen, I think I may have the worst luck ever!!! Work the next day I am swamped from taking so much time off and why am I still here at work.... I need to go home, if I still have one!

Moral of the story... (and yes this is the shortened version) who besides me can possibly kill 2 cars within 4 days and get a summons for court 7 hours away- phew... oh yeah if you want more details on this excruciatingly painful play of events check out Kel's site... wow I just realized that my site may be devoted to all my car problems and killings... maybe I should stop driving since I am the black plague to cars!

I am so baffled by the water cooler here at work- I mean how does it make the water so cold in such a small stand... you would think it would be room temperature all the time especially right after it gets changed... weird. If only I had paid more attention in science I might understand the amazingness of refrigeration! Speaking of cold- why did it get so friggin' COLD in the last couple of days...I have been inside for an hour now and my teeth are still chattering!! Bahamas here I come... I think I am going to start one of those count down chains that you make at Christmas time for my vacation time!! I am going to count down the days until I can feel my hands and feet again!!

Ok- so I officially hate the saying when it rains it pours! I guess this could be due to the fact that it is sooo true! Anyways for the explanation: I left my car at home to get $300 worth of brake work done to it, so that it will pass PA inspection- ugh. I took Dad's car back home for the week- well I was pretty much home and it was late (like 1 o'clock in the morning late)- I was extremely tired and burnt out from the weekend (lack of sleep) and I rode up on a median- well I tend to do this alot, but this time topped all the others- I guess I hit it hard cause the hit was then proceeded by an awful, sickening gushing noise. Yeah- the tire went completely flat- exactly what I needed to happen (sarcasm). The bright side it could have been worse- I was already home, so that was cool. I guess its a family trend and I just had to keep up- Kelly did it (was that this year?)- since Sarah did this a few months ago and Jimmy did it a few weeks ago. Well All Righty then- all the vehicles in our family have officially had a flat tire this year- this has got to be a world record or something?!! We should just start walking everywhere- but knowing us we'd probably break our legs or something!!
