Life is so good so wonderful. I got to visit my boushka Brittany in Atlanta this week. I got to stay at the helsers house yesterday, their house feels like a vacation. Christmas is on the way, there are secrets and surprises to keep hidden. Gifts to be made. cold weather and snow flurries. life is so wonderful. Tonight I want to watch Planes Trains and Automobiles. I love my family.
Two years ago on Christmas Day I heard some news and then I thought I would never be happy again.
But the Lord has sustained me and carried me and used sorrow to care for me in ways I never would have known, and so now I can truly say that for the first time in two years I am overwhelmed with joy.

| I hate that there are so few days in the year that I get to see extended family. But maybe the novelty of large family gatherings is what makes it so wonderful. I still wish they happened more often though.
It's time for a lot of changes, a lot of disciplines, a lot of not letting time waste away in front of a tv or a computer. I rearranged my room, and I'm working on developing personal disciplines (dang i sound like a prudish spinster?) but I am putting money aside, I'm trying to exercise daily and eat healthy, and to read the Word regularly and to pray with out ceasing. Among other things. I want these things to become routine in my life where I don't have to make effort, these are things I hope begin to become second nature. Anyway, I could use prayer for consistency and being faithful to my goals. I tend to be too laid back to keep up routines but hopefully the Lord will strengthen me in those areas.
I'm taking my computer to the Apple Store tomorrow.
Pray she is healed.
Christmas is soon. Today was beautiful!!!!! 40's, rainy, foggy, misty, sleety at times. So perfect. And even though I hate working drive through, I think I had the best job today because I could stand at the window and feel the cold wet breeze.
