| So... Not really watching Kingdom of Heaven, but I wish I was... I'm going to Ivy Tech this fall, and then next year hopefully switching to IUPUI as a History major. I have four classes lined up for the Fall semester: a math class, Bio 101, government, and freshman english--the only thing left is to buy textbooks. Just finishing up my Music History DL course from PHC--that was a lot,and then I had chemistry this summer too, but at least I have two weeks off before college starts. I might go see Bourne Ultimatum with my Dad--it looks really good. Work is kind of busy but not that bad-- not too much else really going on at the moment... | | |

| I finished my DL Research and Writing course from PHC, although the final grade isn't in yet. This summer my course is Music History and appreciation, and I think has some theory as well... Not much happening, I'm working usually four days now and on Fridays from 11:00-8:30 p.m.--things are getting busier. Has anyone seen the movie The Great Raid? It's really good--about a WWII raid on a Cabanatuan prison camp by army rangers to save POWs. I found two books on it--The Ghost Soldiers, and one with the same title The Great Raid. They look interesting... | | |
| The paper on The Da Vinci Code is due this Friday(nooooo!)which I'm working on right now, and having writer's block... I'm thinking about posting an abridged version listing the historical errors in the book. Does anyone know anything about the book The Count of Monte Cristo? I read a synopsis on it the other day, and it sounded like it might be interesting... I think there were some movie versions done too. There is a movie comeing out soon in the UK called Rescue Dawn. Chrisitan Bale is the main character, and it's about the Vietnam War. I don't know if the movie will come to US or not, but it looks good. | | |
