Anybody want some snails? I have plenty...enough for everyone to start their own farm. I don't have a fish anymore but I can't just throw them away! I painted some of them...silver is "slick" and pink is "rosie." I named the others but i can't remember their names.

The hospital across the street from my house flooded from last night"s storm. Patients had to be evacuated by boat. There's tons of people standing on my yard and in the street watching trucks bring in sand and emergency vehicles lining up to carry patients out. Channel 5 has been flying over all day. Luckily my house is on high ground and the flooding is more than 100 feet away. I left my car at work and just walked home today to avoid all the traffic. I hope everyone is okay. :(

I haven't updated in forever...I never got the pics up...because i don't have a camera...

All the ladies that i work with are leaving..two are quitting and one is having surgery so now I'm all alone. The good news is that I am being promoted. My boss now needs a sales person to basically head up the floor. I'll be in charge of projects, prices, and making sure the sales atmosphere is running properly! It's exciting..it's somethign i've wanted to do for a while..but the timing wasn't right...and now it is! yay!

Kristy's wedding was great...I went down early to help out. The sanctuary turned out magnificent.

I went to Lexington for memorial weekend. I had a wonderful time the Calvert's,
Brad, Denny and I all went to a minor league baseball game. I sat next to a lady
named Ann....and yes she spells her name right too! I got burned even though
I was the only one wearing 45 spf..booo.

After the game we dined at a place in downtown Lexington..we ate outside
in this little outdoor area that over looked the street Our meal was great and
the weather was gorgeous...well..as brad would say..."it's Kentucky...duh!"

Then we explored brad's new apartment...it's a really nice place; just perfect
for them. We also visited brad's work.

On the way home we investigated some furniture stores as possible places
i could work at when i live down there. That was fun...Pam and i ran up to
the windows after they were closed and peered in...some of those places are
very high-end. I could make a lot more money than i do at discount "I can't
afford to pay our sales people what they deserve" Groens.

Our good bye was bitter sweet, being separated is hard but it's a lot different
than I thought it would be. The first few days I felt almost heart broken but
now I just feel stressed. But there's nothing like 340 miles to make the heart
grow fonder. :0)

Our bathroom is now complete, I tested out our new air/jetted tub..it was
magnificent! The tile job turned out amazing (I guess thats what you get when
people make the decisions and take their time doing it right.) The bathroom
looks so fancy compared to the rest of the house....now we have to do more
to the rest to make it look at good haha.

My boyfriend is gone,
the bathroom is almost done,
I get to paint my boss' house instead of working at the store this week,
I bought a dining table,
I'm moving in with Jenine! Yay!
Girls night out on Saturday was a blast...I haven't done that in way too long....thanks ladies!

"Special" accomplishments from today:

Driving off with my shoes on top of the car
Eating cereal from a cup while driving (with milk!)
Using mens bathroom at work
Tripping and falling in front of a customer
Using the computer in the closet (I'm literally between 2 blazers right now and it's not a laptop)
Trying to use the sink when i knew that the pipes weren't hooked up yet.
Vacuuming my hair with the shop-vac

Yesssss! I'm awesome.
