I leave for San Antonio in about an hour and a half.......I'll be there for the next 4 days for a Teacher Math Conference.....I know it doesn't sound like fun to most but I'm actually pretty excited.  Conferences can be kinda fun, you learn new techniques to use in the classroom and sometimes you get free stuff for your class!   I love free stuff!  Plus the hotel that my co-workers and I will be staying at is right on the Riverwalk, come on....that's exciting right!  Well I'm off to learn about Elementary Math!  See ya!

This summer has been mucho fun so far...

...I've gone to the Lake with my best buds Leigh and Ryan, went jet skiing and kayaked for the first time....

....i've played tennis for the first time

....attempted volleyball for the first time since high school!

....layed out by the pool a lot and worked on my tan

....gone hiking with my dog, Channing

....planned my trip to Cozumel in January with my favorito Melinda

....met many new friends and gotten to spend time with old ones again

....found a new 4 bedroom house that I will be moving into in August with 3 lovely ladies!

The only sad thing about this summer so far is that I haven't gotten to see my woom-tate that much, she's been traveling a lot!

Next week I have a 4-day business trip I must attend in San Antonio, but we'll be staying at the Marriott on the Riverwalk so that'll be fun!

And I still have a whole 2 months left!!!!  I could get used to this!

The weather in Huntsville right now is absolutely beautiful.................the beginnings of fall!

We gain an hour this weekend, yay!

Dance parties at 1:00 in the morning with Amber, Will & Lorne are da best yo! 

Although, I do believe I will never get the schnazzy heel-toe dance move down, sad for me...........

but our dance parties are still mucho fun.

I have to wake up and teach in 5 hours!!!

Lorne is da best for carrying up our groceries for us today..........lots o' groceries!

Wow...so much has changed in the last month!!!

I have now been a teacher for 37 days.  It's crazy absolutely crazy, but I love it.  I work 11 hour days, on 5 hours of sleep a night.  I HAVE to start going to sleep earlier, you would think I'd learn my lesson after getting sick for a couple of days last week.  I love my kiddos immensely, I think about them all the time, even on the weekends.  I was thinking the other day while driving home from work about how much I love them, and how much it really does make me sad when I have to punish them, and I got a glimpse of what it must be like to be a parent. 

I receive gifts from my kiddos everyday in the form of apples, I get about 5 a day, seriously!!!  Amber and I have so many apples now in our kitchen basket at home, I think she's gonna try to make apple bread or something.  And then one day one of my girls brought me pop-tarts, now that I was excited about!  Sorry, I could go on forever with stories of my kids.

Is teaching the hardest job ever?......YES!!!
Do I thoroughly enjoy it?........DOUBLE YES!!!

Also, I have made the move to Huntsville.  I tried the whole commuting thing, yeah......no fun.  Plus, I felt a desire to move here.  After I would get off work I would find myself not wanting to leave this small town and drive home.  This place is now my home.  No more going home on the weekends either!  The move was sudden, it took place in one day, by one man.......one massive man by the name of Tim  :]

And then in two weeks we are moving again to our new apartment closer into town.

I've made some great new friends, and rekindled with some old one:
Foo-tay makes the best spaghetti, and draws me pictures! (one of my most favorite people ever)

Will makes me laugh so much my jaw is sore the next day. (another one of my most favorite people ever)

Faith brings a smile to my face.

Krit lets me vent about my crazy teacher work days.

Abby lets me argue with her, hehe.

Oh yeah, and how could I forget the best woom-tate ever, Ms. Amber!!!  She cooks for me, makes my lunch, offers to do my laundry.........she pretty much just takes care of me.  And we have the best game nights ever!!  I love you Ams.
