A moment of silence...

While taking the elevator up to work, the tv news caption typed out:

"33 dead in Virginia Tech shooting"

I was shocked and thought the whole shooting incident is unreal.  Apparently it is the tragic truth.
Another shooting? Haven't the government learn anything from the pass about gun regulation?

Yes, they do respond immediately how about few months later, few years later? The goverment eventually loosen their restriction on gun regulation.  Did they only cared about initiating more wars? trying to fight against China with market share?

Do they only think about competition?
really like this song Pink have...

"How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why?"

Pink - Dear Mr. President

Please pray for them

Diversity = Harmony?

10 years ago, an Asian Mall is exactly an..... Asian Mall.

Now, walking in an Asian Mall is like walking in to a cultural mosaic.  I could never imagine seeing Indian and Caucasian working at T & T.

Seeing different culture of people makes me wonder... is it the Asian accepting other culture or is the Asian being glowbally accepted by other culture?

Doesn't matter who is accepting or being accepted, the fact that different culture can generate synergy.  Hopefully this will lower the stereotyping thought in everyone's mind by knowing different culture people.

Different color makes a nicer painting

Ashame of your birthday?

Do you have a friend around you that is ashame of their birthday?

well I do, seem like apparching their birthday makes them embarassed as to how old they are.  Does it really matter if someone knows how old you are? or know that you are older than them?

shouldn't those people acutally be proud of the fact that they have lived for so many years? there are people out there just wanted to get through their first birthday while we are ashame of the fact that we have having our 20th bday, 30th bday.

Please be thankful that we are here.

How's life?

  How's life?

I can use on word to explain the past three months: HECTIC.
Decided to move out of Downtown.. Since my roommate's car got broken into, constantly exercise by bringing garbage down from the penthouse to ground  (24 floors) just to get rid of them, stinky elevator with mixture of lovely garbage juice keep dripping from the useless safeway bags.  I don't think there's anymore reason not to move out of that bloody tower.

I guess is time to realize that i am not under the parent umbrella anymore.

is actually a good thing that i decided to move out and start my Independence 101. If i wasn't enroll in it, I wouldn't of learn that Family is actually 80% of the course.  I only know how to receive from them, but never realize that giving back is actually makes me feel better as a person.  I was glad that lesson was there.

As for my career, in the pass 9 months i have been in three different job.
Banana Repulic - Visual Coordinator (where i get in touch with my hobby.... fashion XD)
CIBC - CSR
Wood Gundy - Investment Advisor Assistant

Now @ Wood Gundy.!! I will have to say it was all luck that i got into the position and i was glad!
Waking up @ 6am going against the snow was th biggest challenge of career!! I guess Snowing in march is just a typically thing in Calgary.

that's my view from my desk. nothing really to complain about it..and that's my desk right here.

anyhow.. i will try to upload more la

People ARE CRAZY!!!!

Is been half a year that i've been actually working full time.. GOD..
the stress is totally different from school work... these kinda of stress actually make you tired and dull!!

I thing i learned is that.. if you show your weak side @ work.. you will lose..
so never let ppl know that you are weak. ppl will just take advantage of you..
or just simply tell them that i don't have time to do..

Also @ work.. never blame anyone... somehow everything that went wrong is always your fault.
Interesting fact is that... some time you were benn never taught how things are done.. soo.. now who takes the blame..  hmmmm YOU!!
