sooo rachel lee gibson, this update is for you, i'm sure you're the only one that reads this anyway :) and just to let you know i'll be praying for pops leg, he's just like granddad i totally understand that he's prob goin crazy by now. are yall in your new house yet?

everything w/ me has been goin pretty good. midterms were good, classes are goin good. i start clinicals next semester, i'm real excited about that. finally almost through w/ all these pointless classes. i think i'll be here in searcy til july this comin summer. i think i may take a missions class at intercession for my minor then take pathophysiology in june. not real sure though.

stef just left. she came to see me for the weekend. it was a blast, we just hung out all weekend w/ everyone and everyone was soo friendly to her. i think she enjoyed it  i'm soo excited to finally get to go home in 3 weeks for thanksgiving. i miss my granddad, my mom and dad, my hammock, having coffee while watchin the deer and turkey in my backyard, java joes w/ the girls, my bed, maple hill, my friends, goin to the farm, helpin dad rake the leaves... i just miss TENNESSEE!!!! i am so blessed by God, and i realize that more and more everyday. things are slowly comin together. sometimes you get in a rut, and when you realize you're finally comin out of it, its a wonderful feeling, sounds gay but i dont care, haha.

so just got back from HUT a few hours ago. Lynn woke me up when she called which is a good thing, otherwise i think i would have slept all day. the weekend was tiring. we left at 8:30 yesterday. got there and took a few hours for orientation. this place is right near camp tahkota for those of you who don't know what i'm talkin about. its in the forest and it has different areas set up like diff countries so you can kinda see what its like to see if missions is really for you. i ended up drawing to live in africa. we had a mud hut to live in. i was w/ katelyn kirby, katelin davenport, john, and casey. all day we made mud. we had to go to this freak nasty pond to get the water and carry it back in huge buckets. we had to put a long log into the pond and eric went out on the log and got the water and we passed it in. then we had to get buckets of really dry dirt and make mud then pack it on this house. the sun was really hot yesterday. a few girls were crying cause they didn't feel good, blah blah blah. i really wanted to tell them to suck it up, but i didn't. everyone was real impressed w/ my mud making abililtes and said if it didn't work out w/ nursing i could make mud. i didn't like that comment so much. i started gettin a sinus infection fri night, so all day yesterday and today i've had the worst sinus headache and what not. thats why i hated hearing those girls complain, cause i'm sure a lot of us weren't feeling well but we were just dealing w/ it. oh well, whatever. so at one point when i was making mud i bent down and hit my head really hard on this log coming out of the roof off the mud hut. i scratched it up bad and have a bad bruise. when it happened eric said he could tell i was just about to scream. so it hurst kinda today, but thats alright. last night when we finally got to bed we slept on wood benches that were around the campfire. we all put 2 benches together and my 2 benches didn't exactly fit together well, so i had like an 8 in gap in the middle. to be honest, very uncomfortable, my body hurts and i feel like all i'm doin is complaining. it could be worse.i feel for the people that are deep into nursing school and have tests tomorrow. all i can say is i'm glad this weekends almost over  hope everyone elses was fun!!

the game was really good sat, except for the 4th quarter. but we won, so that's all that matters. i'm exhausted. the weekend was good, but tiring. before i get into actual nursing school, hopefully i'll learn not to procrastinate.

me and stace have our first validation today. soo nervous. hopefully we'll remember everything.

so glad the weekend is here. i have a ton to do though. lots of homework, cleaning the house, STILL gettin settled in. how sad is that? lynn went to ms last night to take her friend back. she'll be back home in about 45 min. yay!! not sure what we're gonna do tonight. maybe go sit in stacy's section at coltons. it's expensive there though, maybe me, lish, and lynn can all share something. way to be cheap right? so i found out today that i have an overnight field trip to takhota (sp) next weekend. that is the weekend we were gonna go to ms, and i can't go now. that is also the weekend the kojie conoe trip is. i'm real frustrated. everything has to fall on the same weekend. blah. i'm goin to football game tomorrow. excited about that.

if any of you girls need any marykay at any time i sell it. i'm not pushy about it, so you dont' have to worry about that. its just an easy way to get make-up and what not, so just let me know if you ever need anything.

so i was in nurs 203 today from 7:30-11:30. Luckily it's a really interesting class to me, since it lasted 4 freakin hours. oh , and in lab me and stacy are partners and we got our nasty hospital gowns that we have to wear when we give our validations on each other. they're gonna be freakin hilarious. i mean, they're horrible. today we did our lab on skin, hair, and nails and me and stace just laughed the whole time b/c it's so awkward and we had no clue what to do. this is gonna be fun.

i feel bad for lynn right now cause she knows a ton of people that were affected by the hurricane. it's just makes it that much worse when you personally are connected to those people. one of her friends is prob comin to stay w/ us tomorrow til the weekend, b/c her apt is practically ruined.

i was gonna try to put a pic of daniel and annie on here, but i'm too dumb w/ computers to figure it out. i'll ask lynn later.

so my computer is right by a window that looks toward the football field. i just saw mr dominski walkin the dog, so i ducked down so he couldn't possibly see me. eek. i dont' think i've seen mrs d since we moved in. i'll see her enough in validations since she's me and stace's instructor for that. yuck.
