Well, not too much has been happening lately. I worked in the nursery at church for VBS this week and it was lots of fun. Those little ones are so cute & this morning Charlie Koster fell asleep while I was holding him. He is such a cutie!!!!

Last night I was making dinner b/c mom and dad went out to eat, and so i decided to make chicken flavored rice and macaroni & cheese. So i was at the stove and reached down to pour the chicken flavor in the rice and grabbed the wrong packet. So i put the cheese powder in the rice!! It was disgusting, b/c the rice couldn't absorb enough water with the cheese in it, so it was hard and clumpy. Luckily, there was a package of cheese powder that mom had only used the macaroni from, so i was able to make the macaroni & cheese like normal.

Well I am home from camp. It was an awesome three weeks spent cleaning, serving, and having lots of fun with the new friends i made there. But it is good to be home.

I just made some banana bread, and it feelt good to be in my own kitchen and baking b/c i have been in the kitchen at camp the past three weeks, but never really got to cook anything, just serve food and do dishes.

Well this week has been pretty busy. I am a server at meals and then clean cabin six in the morning, and do the bathhouse for my evening clening this week. This week there isn't a regular group of campers, but a rental group of 3rd thru 6th graders that came for a retreat. There are about 90, and they will leave friday, and a new group will come a few hours later, so we will serve two lunches that day,but the second group will only have about 30 people.

Well i found out this morning that i will be staying an extra week!!!

but this morning

I WAS THE ONLY ONE UP AND I WENT TO THE KITCHEN IN OUR TRAILER

WELL WHEN I LOOKED IN THE TRASH CAN, THERE WAS A MOUSE!!!!!!

I TOOK IT OUTSIDE TO LET GO, AND IT STARTED RUNNING TOWARDS ME SO I SCREAMED TWICE SOOOOO LOUD

THEN, KRISTEN KICKED IT,, AND LIKE BROKE IT'S BCK OR SOMETHING B/C IT WASM'T REALLY MOVING AFTER THAT. SHE ALSO SHOT IT W/HER AIRSOFTGUN.

SO AFTER THAT WE WANTED TO PUT IT OUT OF IT'S MISERY, BUT DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO KILL IT. SO ONE OF THE GIRLS SAID THAT HER DAD DROWNS RATS, SO THEY TRIED TO DROWN IT, BUT IT FLOATED, SO THEY TOOK IT TO THE GUYS & ADAM LET IT GO IN THE WOODS.

THE GIRLS HAVE BEEN TELLING EVVERYONE, B/C THEY WERE SURPRISED, SINCE I DON'T REALLY SCREAM AT MOST BUGS & STUFF

sorry i haven't updated recently

sunday (the 25th of june) we drove all day to colorado

monday (the 26th of june) we spent the day with nicole & drove to pueblo and back w/ her then went bowling that night

both those nights we spent in a bed-n-breakfast in a tiny town called westcliffe

tuesday (the 27th of june) we drove to flagstaff, arizona, then drove the two hour drive to and from the grand canyon and spent the night in a Holiday Express in flagstaff

wednesday (the 28th of june) we drove to Las Vegas, Nevada & had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and walked down the strip & spent the night in the Atrium Suites hotel

thursday (the 29th of june) we drove to ventura, California and stayed the night in the Crown Plaza hotel

friday ( the 30th of june) we stayed in the same hotel and spent the day swimming in the beach and pool and walked downtown

saturday ( the first of july) we did the same as friday

sunday (the 2nd of july) was spent the same way

monday (the 3rd of july) was spent driving to gallup, new mexico, where we stayed the night in a holiday inn

tuesday was spent driving home on the 4th of july

Back from camp!

Well camp was amazing!!
I had a great time and made some awesome new friends!
We did lots of cool stuff like rock climbing, on both a wall and real rock, we had an overnight canoe trip, we got to jump off some really cool bluffs and hike a lot.

Our counselor and the pastor that spoke had some great lessons this week too.
