Obviously, hunger is what you feel, and eating is what you do.
So, being sleepy is what you feel. (Why are school kids blamed for being sleepy in the class?)

How about love and hate?
These are what you feel, not what you do.
Then, you cannot love or hate someone with your own will.
So you shouldn't blame people if they hate you.
Because, it is not what they do. It is what they feel.

So is confidence. People can't choose to have confidence; it just happens to them.
How can you have confidence when you know you cannot do something?
Confidence is the result of knowing that one can do something.

Some people like to think, they can change the way they feel.
I dont' think this is entirely true.
You cannot change your feelings directly.
But you may act to change the state of exterworld.
And that new state of the world may change your feelings.

You cannot love someone by your own will.
But if you stay close to that person, you MIGHT love that person someday.

By being aware of this simple process, we can view the world from a different aspect.
Are you also aware of what you do and what you feel?
Do you believe in god?

Do you believe in God? For most of you in Myanmar, the answer is 'No'. But for most in Australia (which is where I'm right now) the answer may be 'Yes'. I used to be Anti-god for the last year few years. Or I like to think of myself as my own god i.e. extreme confidence and self-esteem, which might seem crazy a bit. But now my believes have been evolved again. So, I want to discuss about God from a different point of view, how I think about life.

In our philosophy about this world, everything happen for a reason, cause and effect. So you all agree, there must be something that causes our existance. That is when I feel Buddhism is incomplete. It doesn't explain about the origin. So I feel the need to explore more about other concepts. Everything in the world we live look so intentional, i.e. things and events don't really happen in random.

I don't really know much about The Big Bang, neither do I know anything about Genesis. But I know you can't get something out of nothing. So I believe there must be something that causes our existance, and I call that as "God". God may be a life form or a lifeless form. God may have intentionality or not. And God may have self-conciousness or not. There might even be more than one god. I simply believe in a reason or reasons for our existance and I call that "God".

Note that I'm not following any existing religion in this world. I'm just thinking for a logical point of view. Whether one worships God or not is also a different story. So I'm gonna be asking your opinions about God. Do you also believe in God? And why?

Discussing about religions can be offensive. So I'm sorry if my discussion offends you and your believes, and I suggest you don't read further posts. Religion is some ground we lived since we were born, and very important for us.

First Post

Hello! I'm feeling like writing a bit so I'm editing my xanga page. It's been ages that I had this xanga account but I didn't write anything at all. I have a few blogs in Friendster, and some friends saw these, but I didn't even remember to check my own blog, not to mention about most of my friends there. I don't know if
xanga is the right place to post my thoughts, but most of my friends
have accounts here, so hopefully they can read my posts here. I'll try to write something interesting on this page, and everyone is welcome to comment about my posts.
