something is wrong with xanga. what's with all the extra space in the previous entry? why can't i edit it?

update:
thanx to jonathan's suggestion about editing the html, i looked at the html and i could clearly see the problem... there was an unexplained long useless string of html. the edit function wouldn't let me delete any of it, but i was able to at least delete the entry.

anyway, last saturday's subway experience was definitely xanga worthy. here goes...

on saturday some friends and i went to brooklyn for dinner, on the train
back we thought we were lucky to have a whole train car to
ourselves.  however, as soon as we stepped into the car we noticed
a strange (bad) smell.  after inspecting the car, we discovered that the
bad smell was coming from a BAG OF POO on one of the seats.
needless to say we changed cars at the next stop and watched amused as
other poor souls stepped into the car and noticed the poo-covered seat.  




there you have it boys and girls, new york subway lesson number 9 - if
there is a choice between a crowded car and a ridculously empty one,
choose the crowded one.  there is a reason it is empty.

helloooo everyone! i am back.   i have been moved into my new apartment for about a month now and yesterday my roommates and i got internet! woo-hoo!

i have also been temping for about 3 weeks now.   my latest assignment has taken me to THE waldorf astoria. its like... woah. there are chandeliers, really thick carpet, bowls for fresh fruit in every room and rich people everywhere. one of the suites i have been working in has a HUGE living room complete with giant plasma screen tv, an office, a bedroom, a kitchen and several other rooms thrown in for good measure.

so far i have learned the prices of the following items:

a cup of coffee...........................$ 18.00
