| News Update!Hey! Just wanted to let ya'll know that Brian got a job!!! God is so good. He got a call about 2-3 weeks ago from Jacob's Engineering (a huge Fortune 500 engineering company with locations all over the world and a revenue of over 8 billion last year) wanting to interview him for a business position. He did a phone interview and they immediately asked him to come down to Houston for a face-to-face interview. He went down last Wednesday and interviewed Thursday. He said he thought it went very well. They were looking for candidates that had a technical degree who were interested in the business side of things--exactly what Brian wanted! They emailed him on Saturday morning and said to expect an offer this week. On Wednesday they emailed him an offer and said they wanted him to start somewhere around March 10th.
So, we will be leaving Colorado on Saturday and heading to KS to drop Kira off at Grandma's and on Monday we will head to Little Rock to see my friend Aimee, then head to Houston on Tuesday to see if we can find someplace to live. We are hoping to be moved by March 1st.
It has been amazing to see how God has provided these past many months while we have been without a job. Having the freedom to be able to help Brian's grandma after she had both her knees replaced, and then being able to come to CO and help out his parents on their farm since December has been a blessing both to us and, I think, to the people around us.
Thank you all so much for your prayers! I look forward to seeing what God has in store for us next!

| Guess Who!Ok, so yeah, didn't so much update very quickly. The showdown was fun. I love country music, but my voice definitely does not fit that genre The judges told me that I had "an aboslutely amazing voice" and that at any moment they expected me to break out into some broadway song. I said that I knew I couldn't sing country and that broadway was much more my style. They looked highly relieved and said that I needed to pursue music, that I had a lot of talent, awesome vibrito and amazing pitch, but to stay away from country singing. Needless to say, I didn't win, but I had a fun time.
If you have any desire whatsoever to see me singing, you can go here. I have the Country Showdown video and some videos of Kira when she was a baby (those are much better )
I also have a cool web gallery of some of my favorite picture that I have taken at: Breezy's Web Gallery.
We are still in Highland Kansas, waiting for Brian to hear back from two jobs he interviewed for. They were both with the same company, Black and Veatch, but one was in Denver and one was in Kansas City. They are supposed to get back to him in the near future. Ok, so they were supposed to get back to him by yesterday, but they never actually get back to you when they say they will, so it could be next week, next month, or never (hopefully not!)
Grandma Lewis is doing extremely well after having both her knees replaced. I am doing all the cooking, but she does the dishes. I cannot ask for more than that! I HATE dishes!! It's a fabulous system.
That's about it on my end. I'll let you know when Brian gets a job. Love you all! Breezy

| Howdy Ya'll
Thanks to the gentle encouragement (ok, maybe more like pushing and prodding) from my darling husband, I have entered the Colgate Country Showdown. :) http://www.countryshowdown.com/ I like to listen to country music, but I'm not so hot at singing it. My voice is more at ease singing broadway, oldies and opera... But, country talent notwithstanding, I am going to give it a whirl. I signed up at the very last minute and of course don't have an accompanist, so I'll be singing acappella. Should be interesting. I'm singing an old Patsy Cline song, "Walking After Midnight" (which I can almost do since it is kind of a combo of oldie/country) and a relatively old Reba McEntire song, "She Thinks His Name Was John." I like both songs and I think I can pull them off decently acappella. You are judged on your stage presence, vocal talent, originality (whatever that means ), and marketability in the country music world. All are worth equal amount of points, so I think I will get killed in the whole marketability in country portion. It should be fun nonetheless.
The first part of the competition is June 15th and if I win that one, then the next part is July 20th. That could be interesting if I actually win on the 15th, since technically, we should be out of Indiana by the time the second part rolls around...
I'll let you know what happens :)
Have a fabulous day! Breezy
