I know...I'm poop. You don't need to tell me. But at least it hasn't been a whole semester since I've updated like last time. Anyway...things that have happened since i've last updated:

my dad finally moved back!! permanately!!
we got rid of our dog solly. my dad was outside with him for a long time, waiting for him to go potty, and he finally gave up and let him inside. solly stared right at my dad as he peed on the carpet.
i got my prom dress! i ordered off of ebay (aaaah, ebay!) and it's lovely and i'm excited!!
um....
i miss everybody?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a really pretty picture that my friend sam owenson and i took. I hate how my right eye looks in this picture, it's terrible!

anyway, i hope every single one of you are coming to the dean avenue meeting. i'm soooo excited for it. the other day, i got this random rush of church meeting adrenaline. i think what set it off was the madagascar version of i like to move it.

wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow.

this is alena, and i haven't updated in pretty much eleven trillion milleniums.

ANYWAY!! so i'm in my second semester of my junior year, and it's going pretty well so far. my schedule is as follows:

early bird pe

journalism 1

parenting/child development

wind emsemble

creative writing

world issues

advanced placement psychology

molecular biology

spanish 3

and last semester i had health 2, composition, communications, and driver's ed

let's see....i still have my puppy solly, but he's fullgrown and dumb and psycho, but at least he's kinda cute.

i'm going to start taking college classes next semester and then i should be done with high school forever!!!!!!! (after my first semester of high school)

my dad, who has been living half the week in iowa and half the week in illinois for the past 2 1/2 years, is FINALLY officially moved back to iowa, so that's woooonderful!!

um...idk. boogers i guess.

neway, sorry 4 not updating forever, hopefully i can start doing this more often.

Wow!! It's been almost a week since I've updated, I didn't realize that many days have gone by!!

Anyway, I would LOVE to hear about the goings-on of the two week meeting, and to see pics and stuff. Also, don't forget about the meeting up here this weekend, if people show up it should go pretty well. I'm VERY excited about it. Especially since Aubrey and Meredith and I are going to have a sleepover friday night, lol.

Anyway...I went shopping...I've worked a few days...otherwise I've not been up to much.

I still have a major lack of cell phone, so like I've said before, no pics .

I miss everyone SOOO much, and can't wait to see whoever is coming this weekend!!

ANYWAY.

It's been five days since I've updated . Since the last updates, I've finished Wuthering Heights, and started reading Emma, which is written by the same author as Pride and Prejudice, but this book's better, so far.

I have a charger now, but in the meantime, I've lost my phone (go figure) and so I'll still have a lack of pictures for a while.

Not too much has changed here. I've started walking on the treadmill. The thing is, I've only done it twice so far, and I've managed to lose 4 lbs. Don't even ask, your guess is as good as mine.

I worked again Saturday, and then again yesterday, but yesterday was SOOOOOOOO boring. I only had six customers over the course of five hours, and four of them showed up when I was starting to close up a half an hour early, so then I ended up staying an hour LATER than I had planned. Oh well, at least I made a little money, lol.

Rodney and I visited Vern Ingle today, and on the way to the nursing home, we ate a lovely dinner that consisted of Gatorade, Little Debbie's Snacks, and potato and barbecue chips. And of course, we finished that off with having so delicious banana cream pie at my house afterward.

Anyway, as I said, nothing very exciting has happened here lately. But, please, everyone make sure to spread the word about the young people meeting coming up in a couple of weekends at Marc and Ginger Hermon's and the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. Tad Morris and Emery Wright are both speaking Sunday morning, and Marc Hermon is leading the class. We planned on having the meeting be 13 and up, but since the subject of this specific meeting is mostly for more mature people, we would suggest the people who are coming to be at least 15/16. I'm hoping that we'll have at least some out-of-state people show up, if they do, the meeting should go very well.

Anyway, how's everybody doing?!?!?!

Today I was all, like, doing the whole sideways ponytail deal. It was fun. But I changed it eventually.

I started reading Wuthering Heights today at work (haha, yeah, work...) and it is a HUGE relief to be reading it after having just finished Pride and Prejudice. You can't even compare them, W H is WAAAAAAAY better.

Anyway, not much going on here, I'm just getting ready to watch Benchwarmers with the Mom, Ryane, Ashten, and Josh. Rodney and I saw it in theaters a while back and it was HILARIOUS.

So...same old same old, basically not doing anything. Rodney came over for a couple of hours before church and we played with my puppy!!

Tonight at Pleasant Hill was Song Night, and so the kids all got up to sing in front of the church for a few minutes. My two-year-old cousin, Sophia, got up there and she was SOOOO cute. She did better than her brother, Carson, who's almost six, lol.

After church, Rodney and I went to Village Inn and got a pie, then we went back to my house and read a storybook...aka, Bible.

Anyway, I am up WAY too late!!

Young People Campout/Monday

Hey everybody!! I've decided that I'm definitely going to try and update this more often.

So basically...Rodney and I rode down to the Campout in Southern Missouri.

*Me accidentally sneaking into Rodney's picture.

*Oh, um, Rodney's psycho.

*Put that away!!

*I was in the car, too.

We had a WONDERFUL time. I stayed at Ben and Emily Morris' house, and Emily was a most AWESOME host. There were at one point I think 20 girls staying at the house, but it was so much fun though. Unfortunately, my phone/camera was like constantly dying, so I didn't get any pictures of that, except for this crazy one of Julie getting rolled up in a rug:

And it was, unfortunately, ended with me having to go straight home and work.

Which, as you can tell, was somewhat exhausting.

Anyway, as I said before, I'm definitely going to try and update almost daily, to keep in better contact with people.

To all of you who went to the meeting this weekend, I hope you got home safely, and I had so much fun with you all!!
