summer is ok. it sucked horribly at first, but i'm getting used to being away from friends and the city.

however, i do get to go back to chicago in a few days! jen and kevin are getting married on saturday, and then saturday night after the reception kendall is picking me up and we're driving back to chicago. i'm staying with her until wednesday morning. i'm so excited omg.

i haven't seen many people from high school yet this summer. jess is really the only one i've been hanging out with. i mostly hang out with friends from chicago who live in kc, like lora and sarah. stephone already moved back to chicago :( and i haven't seen much of bowman :( i'm making new friends at work, though, which is good. they're cool.

ummm, other than that, nothing is really going on with my life. i'm working almost every day, which is good because i really need money, and i'm exercising pretty much every day, too, to lose all the weight i gained frosh year of college. i'm doing pretty good; it's been almost a month since getting home, and i've almost lost 10 pounds. not bad, eh? yeah, work and exercise is pretty much my life these days.

i wish i could be back in chicago for the rest of summer and be with people i love and who love me back. i never thought i'd say this, but i really cannot wait until school starts back up again and i can move to chicago forever. home is starting to become dull and boring.

oh darn. spring break is over. it actually wasn't bad at all. not as bad as i thought it was going to be, anyway.

went home saturday, then kendall visited me on sunday through wednesday. i'm pretty sure if she hadn't visited me, i would've died. i hate home. a lot. the only person i enjoy hanging out with is my sister. anyways, kendall and i did many enjoyable activities: bowling, batting cages, barnes & noble, hung out with stephone, drove around and smoked many cigarettes, drank lots of wine, played in the sport court, etc. oh thank GOD for best friends.

so i came back to chicago on thursday and then went to a lovely porn-b-que. ohhh fun times.

saturday night kendall and i took a tiny road trip to the suburbs to her dad's house and stayed there until yesterday evening. mmmm Chili's. then we hung out at nisha's for a bit and watched the L word. um, i cried. a lot. love love love that show.

that's pretty much it for this update. it's back to school now.
