  • Too long.

Wow, I haven't updated this in forever.  I'm mostly on Facebook now.  I don't even know if I can give much of an update, too much has happened.  I guess I'll just note the important stuff.(Note: Not necesarily in order of importance)

Justin & I aren't together anymore.  And I think its a good thing.

I'm just finishing my first year @ VU.  I've made mostly A's.  I hate most of my classes, business is insanely boring.

    I'm a brunette now.

I'm thinking of taking a backpacking tour of western europe next summer.  That's just in the thought process, though.

My dad has cancer.  Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  Tumors on his liver, colon, and in his right leg. Only a 30% chance of remission, but the doctors are hopeful.

I'm looking for a job.  Had a good interview the other day.... waiting, waiting.

    I'm 21 now....  It's not much different than 20.

    That's about it.

  •  Hello.  Just so you know, I'm not dead... apparantly.  I don't really have a lot going on.  School.  I'm in a musical that opens on Wednesday.  Other than that, not much has happened.  I'm probably going to go visit Justin for Christmas.  I had a lot of fun when I went to visit last time.  I guess the only real news is that we've been together now for a whole year.   But we didn't get to spend our anniversary together.

Viktor is almost 4 months old now.

Most recent family pic. Me, my parents, my brothers, their wives/girlfriend, and all seven of my nieces & nephews. Seventeen of us in all.(Eighteen if Justin was there) An that's just my immediate family.

    Wow.

Hello me lovies!  I'm updating twice in the same month, isn't that exciting?  I have good news, bad news, and news news.

Good News:  I got my college acceptance letter the other day.  I'm going to Vincennes University.  And I'm 99.99% sure that I'm getting this scholarship that will essentially pay for my entire college career.  It even pays for my gas!

Justin finally got a job, Thank Jesus!  It's really hard work and he usually works 9hr days, but the pay is decent.  That, along with a couple other familial developments means that he might hopefully be able to move here soon. Yay!

Bad News:  Justin broke his toe, dislocated his wrist, and has been suffering from some pretty intense heat exhaustion, all of this from his job.  He hasn't been sleeping like he should, and has been vomiting blood again... He's getting a four day weekend for his birthday (29th) so hopefully he'll be able to get some much needed rest.  Please be praying for his health.

News News: I have a New Baby Nephew! His name is Viktor Magnus Bays.  He's absolutly adorable.

I'm looking into changing my place of employment.  I want to find a place that's closer to campus so I don't have to do quite as much driving.  So be praying that it all works out.

I am doing a breakout session for teens at Youth Jam(visit our website www.youthjamonline.com it isn't quite finished, but I did most of the design work) I'm not completely sure what topic the session will be on, but I know that God will speak through me.  I'm very nervous and excited.

Random: I did this in Photoshop today....

I'm driving down to Wills Point, Texas on Sunday.  I finally get to see Justin after 5 months and 10 days of being apart.  That may make me sound very 'junior high,' but when you've only spent two weeks out of the seven months that you've been in a relaionship with someone actually in the same state as them, it becomes a big deal.  I am so very excited.  I might make a stop at the HA campus, but I'm not really sure, we're both really strapped for cash, and gas is expensive.  But I'll call people to let them know when I'll be on campus if I actually end up on campus during my visit.
