| so, in case you didn't notice (you probably didn't, actually) i'm not really doing the whole xanga thing anymore. i just felt the need for some kind of official closure on the subject. | | |
| lately i've been having severe mood swings. on the one end i get this insane, manic euphoria that fills me with all this energy and inspiration and makes me laugh and talk alot. but it's not really a good thing, because it makes me want so badly to go DO something, like write a book or take a road trip. it also makes me very tense and twitchy. on the opposite end of the spectrum, i fall into an irritating, self loathing, self pitying depression. neither state is very much fun and i don't know why its happening. i've also been getting really worked up thinking about social problems around the world and the enviroment and stuff like that. i'm so fucking pretentious. jesus christ. | | |
| so, my dad finally got me to read the metamorphasis...holy shit. weird fucking story. really odd.
i promised nathan i would listen to this album, and so i am. i like it much better than i thought i would.
we might have a snow day tomorrow, which makes me mad. it should be getting warmer out. and i want to get out of school early. blah.
| woody guthrie sure did like dust. or rather, he liked to write about dust. dusty old dust... | | |
| i saw a great movie last night called paulie shore is dead. it was fantastic and you should all see it, but only if you know who he is. otherwise, you won't find it very funny.
today, we watched a truly terrifying frank zappa movie called 200 motels. holy shit.
i feel horrible...i'm really achy and dizzy and my nose is stuffy and i keep coughing. pity me.
