| to seek happiness one does not need to travel the different continents nor await for years to come
happiness is within each soul it always has and will always be to those who have realized the simple truth
release the happiness let it grow and multiply by sharing it with others others like you and me

| "Flaubert said, to be chronically happy one must also be stupid."
are you obsessed with happiness? so was i. well, to a certain degree, i still am. one of my goals in life is to be "happy." but, according to this, there is nothing wrong with being sad occasionally.
"Sadness seems to be part of our biological inheritance......when you are in a negative mood, you become more
analytical, more critical and more innovative. You need negative
emotions, including sadness, to direct your thinking."
in an odd way, this realization has made me quite happy.

But when you focus it through a magnifying glass it can start a fire. "

imagine what can be done by FOCUSing the mind. don't distract the mind, but focus on the things that truly matter.

i know you're there
but with my blind eyes
i cannot see you
i know you're with me
but with my numb fingers
i cannot touch you
i cry out to you
wondering if you'll hear me
you reply back
but with my deafened ears
i can barely hear you
so i close my eyes,
staying still,
and listen with my heart
and listen to my heart
beating for you.

something that caught my eyes over the weekend...."Rejects from the bat factory"
have you ever noticed that every tree looks different? also, no tree is
perfect in the sense that a tree isn't symmetrical in design nor any of
its branches are perfectly straight. even the size of each leaf differs
considerably.
just like people, no tree looks the same. just like us, no tree looks
perfect. yet, there's beauty in every tree and trees look ever more
beautiful when they're together in a group like in parks.
i believe that God feels the same way when he looks at us. none of us look
perfect. we're kind of like the "rejects from the bat factory." none of
us meet the standards in manufacture, that is, the beauty that we've
set for ourselves. however, the truth is that none of us were meant to
meet a certain standard nor look perfect. in fact, each one of us were
meant to be different and unique, or from the world's perspective
"flawed." and together we're like an artwork above that brings delight to the creator.
God loves you just the way you are. you're immensely beautiful in His eyes.
