Orange - a rare color for me

For some reason orange is a rarely used color for me. Whenever I do paintings of the sun I use various shades of yellow, but even then orange is not touched upon. For the rarely used colors I tend to mix my own paint rather than splurge on something that will dry out and go to waste. A while ago I was in need of orange and I mixed the most wonderful hue that I was glad I had bought little paint storage cups to close it up and set it aside. What was I working on that I delved into this not often sought after realm of color? The textural enhancement of the tribal flame on my "Faith in Miracles" jewelry/trinket box!!

I guess orange just isn't a color I see often, unless it's pumpkins in the Autumn. So I don't integrate it into my crafts. Perhaps I will have to do more autumn related items in order to use the beautiful paint I have mixed!
