| Touro University: College of Medicinefew weeks ago, i got a phone call that i was accepted to the
school. i begin in august, i'm hastily preparing
everything. moving to vegas july 18th. for now, i'm
spending what little time i have left with my parents to help clean up
their house.
i have no idea what kind of doctor i wish to be. there are a lot
of pros, and the same amount of cons. some types are much harder
than others, and altho no one tells me to take the short road, 7 years
isn't short at all. ideally, i'd want to do 9. maybe
10. and at that much, why not go all the way and do
neurosurg? might as well throw in pediatrics.

| its been a whilei guess i haven't updated my life in a while. i don't even know who reads this anymore...
since october, i've had 2 med school interviews, one was rejected, the other was waitlisted. i find out if i get in in may, but i need to prepare for next year applications if i do not make it. meaning, retake mcat and take more gpa raising classes. i want to apply to a post-bac program also so that if i don't make it in this year, i can get into a linkage program and not have to worry about 3rd year round of applications (if i don't make it in for the 2nd time, which would be very, very depressing).
i'm still working at wmsa, and i can say i've seen quite a bit. the last 2 months, we've been insanely busy, being closed to ed saturation is not uncommon for us. if you'd ever like a gruesome horror story, let me know, i'll try to think of some good ones.
aside from that, i've been working on my car and slowly but surely building it to race. if i get accepted this year, then i probably won't be able to race, so if i do have to apply next year, i guess there is always something to look forward to, right? who knows.
anyways, that's pretty much my update. any other questions, feel free to ask.

| FridayI find out Friday if I'm accepted. Yeah, this Friday.
I didn't do as good on my interview as I had hoped. I impressed her a little, but nothing great. Everyone else at the interview seemed to do better than me.
Well, i'll find out the decision Friday.

| so i have an interview!i got an interview in mid october at touro-nv! i am studying my ass off so i can impress the people. i hope i do.
