| Holy moly, have I been busy in the last 3 months. I have been extremely busy with my job, Curtis' job, and adjusting to married life. I been promoted to receiving clerk and clothing department head. Clothing keeps me extremely busy because more and more and more new clothes come in every day and I just can't keep up with it. It has to stop sometime. School started a month and a half ago for Curtis and so far we have had six performances. Our concert on the green, a football jamboree, two home games (which Parkview lost), and Valhalla exhibition this last Saturday. This last Saturday Parkview hosted Valhalla marching festival to 17 bands, three of which went back and forth between us and Ozarko at MSU. The day went well and no one complained. Curtis was on TV and in the newspaper on Sunday for the competition. The band would have gone to Ozarko to compete if it wasn't for Valhalla. But we will be there next year. We have three competitions on the next three Saturdays and one home game left with it being Senior night. I can't wait for October is over so I can see Curtis more often and the holidays will be upon us very soon. Married life is great with a few ups and downs now and then, but that is all being part of a band directors wife. I would change anything in the world though. I love it. Hope all is well with all of you and I will try to update more often. |
