| Due to totally being bored at work, I decided to join the bandwagon and create my list of 10 pleasures. But since I can't actually log onto xanga at work anymore, it took me 4 days to actually post it online!
Life's Simple Pleasures -- tagged by Stellie
Instructions: Name 10 of life's simple pleasures that you like the most, then pick 10 people to do the same. Try to be original and creative; try not to use things that someone else has already used. (although I just saw this part now, so I think I might have some repeats =\ )
1) Family- nothing better than spending quality time with my wonderful fam!
2) BooBoo!- life doesn’t get any sweeter =)
3) Girlies- always can count on them for a wild time, good laughs, and great advice (and the occasional gossip!)
4) Sleeping in- Don’t wake me up early on the weekends, or ELSE!
5) Food in my belly- I love planning what I’m going to eat for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Looove trying new restaurants/food! (All time comfort food: spaghetti! yumm)
6) Books- Romance, mystery, girly books, more serious books (my serious books are like Kite Runner haha)….name it and I’ll read it!! I’m a little book worm 
7) Lotion- I need to be moisturized 10x a day!!!
8) Traveling!!! – love it so much, I made a career out of it!
9) Movies/TV shows: pair it up with someone to cuddle with (girls or Boo Boo) and a glass of wine, and I’m in euphoria!
10) Beach!!! – Pina colada, ocean breeze, the smell of salty water, white sand….*sigh

Birthday celebration hasn't started yet, so no pics for now. But there's definitely going to be a lot of celebrating!!! (It feels like we've been planning your birthday for months now Michelle, huh? -- which we technically have! haha)

| In Orlando all week...right across the street from Disney World. Besides the first day (Saturday), we have not been able to spend much time outside since we're in training ALL day!!! The hours are long and the case study is so challenging I wanna go crazy sometimes. However, Deloitte's motto is "work hard, play hard" which they definitely stick to. We always "debrief" our sessions over drinks at the lounge, and there's open bar events every night. AND an open Deloitte tab at the club! so awesome! Plus they feed us like EVERY hour! Its so insane. I think all this food and liquor is why im so ineffective around here...always so sleepy. I swear i'll be an alky in a few months or just have very high tolerance. O-well. Chicago next week and then Dallas after that for more training. | | |
| Currently at Deloitte, in a conference call, updating my xanga. lol! im jus cool like that. Anyways, first few days at work has been real great. Beltway traffic has surprisingly been so much better than I anticipated. 25 mins from the time I leave my apartment to the time I'm walking in my tysons office!  absolutely awesome! For lunch today, the group is heading out to PF Changs, which im so happy about. Saturday afternoon, we leave for Orlando! I'm also currently decorating my apartment. So there's definitely a lot of excitement going on in my life right now.
Last night, went to Persimmon in Bethesda with my fam and Noel to celebrate my Dad's bday! Baller status was really great. We pretty much tasted everything on the menu. SO GOOD!!! I definitely recommend it! great crabcakes!
