Name: Christina

Interests: When I have time, I enjoy reading and hanging out with friends. I adore chai lattes, my kitty Ginger, shopping for shoes, rainy days, spending time with my family, tracking hurricanes and storms (yes, I admit it... I love the weather. Once considered meteorology, but decided there was too much math and science. I couldn't even pronounce half the classes!) I'm part of M28, the best college group ever, and I love serving there. However, my Savior, Jesus Christ, is by far the most important part of my life. My desire is that my life would completely revolve around Him.
Expertise: Making photo copies (might as well be my double major!) If Interior Design doesn't work out, I can always get a job at Kinkos!

REKINDLE!!

Absoulutely incredible! God met us once again, in amazing ways - How kind of HIM!! Pics will be up later... But just a quick summary....

God spoke through Mickey and Joe to catch our attention and direct our gaze to the cross, but ultimately to GOD Himself. The topic was "Be Holy as I am Holy" and we were left challenged, convicted, and encouraged to pursue holiness to know God and draw near to HIM. Mickey's message on Justification, Legalism, and License was one of the highlights for me. More to come later... but just a quick quote that stood out to me, among many of them.

John Newton at age 82 (while suffering from alzheimers) said this, "My mind is almost gone now, but I can remember two things; I am a great sinner and Jesus is a great Savior."

In light of our great sin, may the greatness of our Savior spur you on to live a life worthy of the calling He's given to you!

Sometime....

Okay, I think it's time to update. Btw, I did get all my x-mas shopping done . But on a different note... wanted to share something that has encouraged me often - it's actually taped on the back of my bedroom door (bedroom doors are a great place to put stuff you want to remember, because you'll actually see it when you close the door, when you open it to leave...etc  Anyway, that's what I've found) So, hopefully this will encourage you as much as it encourages me!

Sometime

Sometime, when all life's lessons have been learned, And sun and stars forevermore have set,

The things which our weak judgements here have spurned, The things o'er which we grieved with lashes wet,

Will flash before us out of life's dark night, As stars shine most in deeper tints of blue,

And we shall see how all God's plans are right, And how what seemed reproof was love most true.

Then be content poor heart; God's plans, like lilies pure and white, unfold; We must not tear the close-shut leaves apart,

Time will reveal the chalices of gold. And if, through patient toil, we reach the land Where tired feet, with Sandals loosed may rest,

When we shall clearly see and understand, I think that we shall say,

"God knew the best!"
