Sometimes you wake up feeling sh*tty and wonder why isn't the world a better place

And bam, not one, but two answer hits you right in the head:

1. "We can still win in Iraq"
2. The (dirty) Secret

I wanna go travel...

Hope all's well! I thought I was only going to go 2 months without an update, and I outdid myself by going almost 3!

Work's been pretty unpleasant, with some unexpected personnel moves (always a pain). So I'm really looking forward to some travelling... First thing is we'll probably be doing a 1 week east coast trip since it'll be new to both of us. We are thinking ny city, boston and philly, but would there be enough time to also hit DC? Hm... any suggestions would be welcome ^_^

Just finished an audiobook on the ancient history of asia minor, and really make me want to go visit sometime! Check out the gorgeous Hagia Sophia:

Inside:

According to wikipedia, the Hagia Sophia (means Holy Wisdom), or Ayasofya, used to be a Christian Church, then the center of the Eastern Orthodox church. After the Turks captured Constantinople, it was turned into a mosque (one of the greatest in the world), and now functions as a museum. As it get restored into a museum, many of the earlier christian mosaics that were plastered up during the muslim era are being uncovered, all of that juxtaposed with the muslim artifacts of the last five centuries. That alone would probably be worth the air ticket to Turkey Has anyone been there before?
