time for another semi-annual entry  ...first off...wow! xanga has more functionalities since my last entry. 

Here's my sentiments on the last 6 months in a nutshell: LIFE NEEDS TO SLOW DOWN!  Cousin's engaged.  Another cousin had a baby.  Parents are moving back to Taiwan to enjoy early retirement & do ministry work there.  House is being sold. Amers is engaged and I am going to be the maid of honor!  I almost accepted an assignment in China, but rather stay here for the time being.  Metabolism is decreasing and stuff that jiggles increasing!  I cooked my first shrimp dish

I miss old friends and I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get around to doing some of the silly things I want to do... Someday I want to do a cross country road trip with the cell phone off and not checking email along the way.  Someday I want to snuggle with a certain someone in a hammock and watch a sunset (or a sunrise..or both)....until then, an audit's got to be done... I should probably go home since it's almost 10pm and all the lights just went off!

Busy season makes me feel like I've totally disconnected from the world.  At least this year I moved and my commute to my client is only 3 miles.  It's SWEET to drive 15 minutes to get to Beverly Hills.  sighhh... I LUV it.  Luv my roommates and luv our apartment.  Maybe I'll have pictures when we're done decorating it. 

Turning 26 soon but I'm not stressed.  I remember last year I was flipping out about joining  the quarter century club.  26 will be a good year I'm sure.  Time passes by so fast now and there's not enough hours in the day to do all the work AND have a social life.  So, I just sleep less and less.  God's been nothing but absolutely amazing and faithful with the friends he's surrounded me with. 

Plans this weekend: Work, wait for the cable guy, shop for a TV, volunteer at the 5K run on Sunday, watch a kids soccer game, and go to the shooting range! phew! packed! 

there are some people that you'll just never forget.  Even though the time you shared wasn't very long, the imprint they leave on your heart (and maybe your life) is still deep.

I thank God for those people in my life.  One of them is celebrating her birthday today!

I think of her every time someone compliments on my engrish.  She was the one who taught me english in the fifth grade.  She sat with  me patiently and corrected my pronounciation of my r's and l's.  She took me in with her friends and invited me to slumber parties, church meetings, and how to gawked at the boys in New Kids on the Block...(FOR THE RECORD: I never gawked!)

Thank you God for blessing my life with this special person.  I pray the blessings she has brought to my life are multiplied exponentially to the infinit degree plus 1 in her life - amen.
