| MY LIFE HAS CHANGED
So, a lot has happened the past couple of months. I graduated, got a full time job at an outpatient clinic, passed my PT licensure exam, and got my active Physical Therapist license....whew!!
So I thought I would update on how I am enjoying my life in the "real world". I am really enjoying my job. It is very busy at times, but I really enjoy it. My coworkers are great and so are my patients. I work in a very positive atmosphere, I can even bring my ipod and play my own music..it's great :). I have had some very rewarding encounters with my patients with encouraging words, so that is always exciting. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I feel like I am learning a lot and applying a lot everyday. I think I am adjusting to my hours..I work 7-6 or so MWF and 7-12 TTh..7 am is quite early to begin. I still haven't gotten in bed in time to get 8hrs of sleep, but for the most part I do ok on the 5-7hrs I get.
You know what is great? I get to go home and do whatever I want, NO STUDYING!! Woo hoo!! It's a great feeling. I am going to start taking guitar lessons next week thanks to one of my awesome friends (graduation gift, good one, huh?).
So I turn 26 next week, is that considered the late 20's?! If so, that's kinda crazy...I'm getting up there :)
| I PASSED MY PHYSICAL THERAPY EXAMINATION!!
I will be a licensed PT this week!! Woo hoo!
Thank you for all your support and prayers!
| A NEW SEASON OF LIFE
So tomorrow, I begin a brand new season in my life...the working world aka the real world. I start my job tomorrow.
The question I keep getting...Are you excited?
Well, I am feeling a lot of mixed emotions. Yes, I am excited, but the excitement brings a lot of nervousness and apprehension. I am not great with change. I am a little worried about balancing my job, studying for my licensure exam, church stuff, and sleep. I am not excited about learning a new documentation system (documentation is the worst part of physical therapy!!), but I am excited to have my own patients, be finally applying what I have learned, learning new things, and getting a paycheck!!
Well, I have a super long day tomorrow..10hr days MWF and 5hr days TTh...should take some adjustment.
I am going to have to rely on God for strength during this new season of life. Thanks for reading and thanks for any prayers you would like to send my way.
| A LITTLE SURVEY
So all you xangans, myspacers, and facebookers.....I thought I would ask a few questions to see what kind of response I get.
It's a simple question with a ton of different answers...
So, sit there and really think about this one if you have the time. Be honest. What makes a member of the opposite sex dateable? For example, if you are a guy, what makes you want to take that chance and ask her out or if you are girl, what makes you really want the guy to ask you out? Is it mainly chemistry? attraction? some sort of quality?
Thank you for your response.
| A LITTLE UPDATE
So it has been a long time since I updated my blog. Let's see, what has happened?
Got back from Hawaii Finished class Graduated with my Master of Physical Therapy..Woo Hoo! Went on the best graduation cruise ever in the Caribbean with my classmates. Began studying for my licensure exam Started a small group for women through my church Tara came to visit!! :) Back to studying for my licensure exam.
What is to come? I begin work on June 18th I will probably take my exam sometime in July.
