| ok so thanksgiving break is def one during which you should go home. A whole lot of ppl went home for the break and it was strangely empty around campus and in Broadview. Life here can be characterized as weird. When I look at my life here in Chicago and compare it to life in Houston, it honestly feels like they're two wholly different worlds. Iono, a lot of things that make life so diff, I don't care to share with the gen populace, so yea. Exams are coming up in less than two weeks, meaning I will be buckling down and becoming a library zombie. It snowed about an inch, making everything a uniform, clean, powdery white. The RHs had a thanksgiving dinner in their apartment, UChicago had one in Hutch, and DKE had one last Thursday. Taimur, Wen, Revan, Sara, Saba, and I went to Wicker park which is a very montrosey area here. It was interesting and we went to this really cool book store. I'm really looking forward to getting away from college, I think all my uber-socialness is getting to me and I feel the need to just escape to a place where there arent ppl wanting to do something, say something all the time. Anyway, hope all of you had a good thanksgiving break! |
