    Pre-Wedding Pissup

    Drinkies with my beloved ex, Ian, Simon and Best Man Robert were a big laugh. We started on Krug, worked through two bottles of Taittinger and ended up on Veuve Cliquot. We were all drunk and telling naughty stories, some of which will no doubt appear in Robert's speech at the wedding reception. I am sure I will not come out well from this...Aaah, my secrets are out!

    Otherwise it is complete pre-wedding madness as we try to organise the last little details.

    I woke up...

    ...too early this morning. Even up before early-bird Simon. Now my day is out of sync.

    The good news is that I cancelled my Therapy session today as I have nothing of importance to talk about. Everything is fine. I feel content.

    Now I just have to contend with people trying to invite themselves to the Wedding. It's not that I mind, but the bar has limited capacity (and we have limited funds for the bar bill!).

    As it is BEAUTIFUL weather I am going to have lunch on a terrace and watch the world go by.

    Fun with Friends

    After only six months of planning, we finally met Anthony (aka AZStudent). It was a fun evening with cocktails and Champagne and lots of chatter. I think we will be friends despite the fact he is a Republican!

    Last night we had our friend Jan from King of Siam around for dinner along with our friend Robert. They hit it off well, and it turned into a very enjoyable evening. Jan is incredibly sweet. We REALLY like him. Simon did ALL the preparation and cooking. His first dinner party he has done all by himself. WELL DONE SIMON!

    Now it's a rest period before the Wedding!!!
