| I am fascinated by the Olympics. All the tradition and meaning behind every little thing. It's amazing. As much as I'm disappointed my country for not being the America it should be right now, I still feel the spark of pride when our athletes made the walk. And, just happy to be on this earth. Where in these few days, we look past all of our conflicts, wars, and predjudice ways, to interestingly enough - compete. I know I sound corny. But, I really, really love the Olympics. My first conciousness of them was when I was four, and they were in Atlanta. I really got into them when they were in Salt Lake City. I took a liking to speed skating, skiing, and snowboarding. I hope one day in my lifetime, I'm able to attend the Olympics. |
