Happy New Year!  Now back to my routine life where my next holiday isn't until Memorial Day.  Sadness...

omg...the temperature dropped 20 degrees almost instantly today.    these temperatures are here to stay for a little bit.  gah, it's cold!  hopefully i'll still be able to get up for work.

• britney spears filed for divorce from FEDex
• rumsfeld resigned
• lump sum interest rates should go down...so retire at the end of the year
• i went to my first baby shower
• UT vs Ohio State for national championship???????????   POSSIBLE!

i couldn't have been as lucky as i was today...

xom had their health, wellness and ergonomics fair today since they're so big on safety.  i played this "spin the wheel" game in hopes of winning either the spiffy first-aid kit or the nice, big exxon thermos they had displayed, but i also thought the umbrella was nice since i always lose them (but it wasn't my #1 choice).  turns out, i win the umbrella, and it pours after work.  what are the chances???  otherwise, i would of had no umbrella and been drenched during the whole ride home being sad.

so good thing i won the umbrella.  overall, good day despite the downpour.

i also picked up ROUGHLY 10^6 14 day passes to 24 hour fitness.

i feel like everyone is congregating in austin this weekend.  now i want to be there too...
