This song has spoken volumes to me different times throughout the last
year. It fits how I've felt perfectly, and it will often bring me to
tears whenever I hear it. Tears for many reasons, but mainly because I
am so thankful that I'm not who I was any more. I'm thankful I'm not
who I was 4 years ago when I started blogging. and I'm thankful (and
still hurting) for some of the things that I've been through since June
2007.

So I guess it is about time I posted an update from the last week. I
just haven't been in the mood to sit and type out everything that has
gone on. Last Friday, my parents had my dad's side of the family over
for dinner since my Gramps, and Aunt Laure were in town. We had pizza
and just general picnic type stuff. We got home close to 11 that
night, and I took my final. the final was a bit stressful because of
computer issues. Saturday we got up and went back down to my parents-
we were there until late... I don't even remember when we came home.
lol. We spent the morning getting ready for Kelsey's party, then the
party went 1-4, then family party afterwards. it was a good time, some
relatives came that we had not seen for probably 8 years! After
everyone left and we got things cleaned up, we broke out the Wii.
Both Gramps & A. Laure played a few rounds of bowling. It was such
a funny sight!
Sunday we went to church, quick lunch, quick stop at home, and then to
graduation. It was at the Schuster Center, and was a nice ceremony. It
onyl lasted a little over an hour and a half. We then went to Uno's to
eat! Their food is so good! I got a few early birthday presents from
Gramps & Grammie, then we came home.
Monday I took a final, and I've just been relaxing and knitting ever
since! I'm half way done with the blanket for the shower on Sunday,
when I'm done I'll post pictures.
Not a lot is going on this weekend-- I'm finishing up my blanket, and
getting a handle on the other things I want to knit in the next
month. Sunday is church, a lunch meeting and baby shower. Monday I'm
relaxing, I think. Tuesday, I'm meeting Kristin down in Cincy and
hanging out with her and her son, Jakob for awhile. I'm excited about
that!
That's about all that's going on here that I can blog about. I'll post more later as i have stuff to actually talk about.

I think we may go see Prince Caspian or Indiana Jones tonight. We have not been to the movies since Dan in Real Life came out. I'm excited.

A lot has been going on (imagine that) so i haven't been really updating. Right now, I have this need to procrastinate, so I'm blogging because I'm not letting myself knit until this paper is done.
Last week, Grandpa had is third out of four surgeries to remove the cancer. The first two (which were on his head) went well, and are healing nicely. The third and fourth are on his back, and he has already had the worst one done. I don't know how big the actual incision was (or whatever they do to remove it), but the bandage was easily 12" by 6'. He seems to be getting along well with it, but he has to take it easy for 2 weeks. His last one is during the first week of June.
The quarter pretty much ends for me this week. I have a presentation on Wednesday. Group meeting on Tuesday for the presentation on Thursday, and a glorified book review due on Thursday, final on friday, then a final next Monday.
Then I get a break until June 16th.
That's the quick update. I need to get back to my paper so I can see Dave, Monika & Ben tomorrow and not feel bad about my paper not being done.
