| An update...So...what's new with me? I will just give you a few of the first details that come to my mind since my last month's update. - The majority of my clothes no longer fit - mostly pants. My tops can still stretch over my tummy, but unfortunately, I don't own very many elastic waisted dress pants so I am constantly visiting the stores trying to find something to wear!
- Our new house is in the drywall stage so everything looks on track for an August move in!!
- We have new friends (old friends for Seth) moving to town in August which is very exciting. They have a little boy and a basset hound named Buster Brown,
- I am officially 16 weeks pregnant today!
- Seth and I got to visit friends in Vernon with a 2 week old baby boy, and we learned that newborns cry a lot...and Seth learned that newborns don't really play with you ;)
- The summer is flying by and will be gone before we know it.
That is all that comes to mind at the moment. I will post pictures of my growing tummy soon and may at the request of erin, start a baby blog. Life has been busy but rich with growth which is all that we can ask for. Being married and soon to be parents brings us to a place of contemplation and questioning. We want to be great parents and in order to do our best, the preparations have to start now. So we thank-you in advance your help and support of us on this journey. Love Andrea PS: Thanks to Harms for all the great baby names!!
| ANNOUNCEMENT!!Seth and I are pleased to announce that we are expecting a baby on December 10th!! Yes...I know this may come as a shock and surprise, but it is true! I know that this year has been FULL of change, but we are hoping that this is last major one for a looonnnnggg time! We had our first ultrasound yesterday and it was amazing to see the baby move around in stomach (I can't feel it though because the baby is only 5 cm big!!). Hope you have a great day!! | | |
| SOLD After 3 days on the market, we sold our townhouse for exactly what we need with the posession date we were hoping for. We are well on our way to moving to the NW. Our new house is now in the framing stage and we are on target for an August posession. More news and pictures to come.... | | |
| For those who live in Calgary, I am sure you will all agree that the weather this weekend was fabulous!! Mokiee, Seth and I got to go for 2 long walks in Fish Creek Park and enjoy the beautiful weather (approx +15). Mokiee LOVES walking in Fish Creek Park. She gets to see other dogs and people and others really do seem to get a joy seeing her (I think it is the long ears or something). The problem is that my fun puppy who starts like this:
She ends up like this:
When we go to the park, we drive there to ensure that our whole walk is in the beautiful outdoors. So my issue is, how do I get her home when she looks like this? Since she is such a low rider (aka: short stumpy legs) with big monster paws, her paws kick mud up on her underbelly which is practically on the ground anyway. Yesterday, she got to ride home sitting on my favorite lululemon sweater. Today we remembered a towel. I can't wait until the summer officially arrives and our walks are mud free!
