| Dear readers,
My band Takanawa
is playing a show at the Lower Paxton Youth Center (100 Elmwood Drive, Harrisburg PA) this Friday, May
5th. Doors are at 5:30, we play around 6. Bring $3 for
entry and at least $10 for merchandise. I would love to see each
and every one of you there because I won't get to see you until the
15th otherwise (see link above for tour dates). PLEASE COME!
Love,
Andy

| Xanga sucks.
...I can't believe it took me 1000 days to realize this.

This is what I want to do for a living.
So I figured it was time for my bi-monthly update. Things are
going well and I drink way too much. I'm definitely looking
forward to Spring Break as another opportunity to detox. And get
more musical equipment, hopefully. Be sure to give me a call
sometime between March 3rd and 12th.
My plans for summer are very uncertain at the moment. I've
already signed up to do one of the summer sessions here at PSU from
late June to mid-August, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen
because Takanawa is trying to organize a tour of the northeast and
possibly a little of the midwest. Also, I have the option of
getting a job and going to this camp with Rabiya, both of which would
look great on a resume (I suppose I'm going to have to hold a real job
at some point before I graduate from college). So, once we get
our tour dates all figured out, I'll know what I want to do this summer.
I've been single for almost two months now and that's going pretty well
for me, despite the drunken fights my ex and I get into on
occasion. Whatever.
That's about all that's going on in my world. I have a biology
test tomorrow that I should probably continue studying for, but all I
want to do is sleep and practice. How you been?

| Happy Birthday Jesus!
So it's been over two months since I last wrote in here. Here are some updates...
First semester at PSU has been completed. GPA: 3.6 (Dean's List).
I was sick from the last week of October until the time I arrived home for semester break. Finals week was particularly bad. Par example, I took my French final with a temperature of 100 degrees.
I'm happy but especially thoughtful as of late. It's great to be home and I love seeing everyone, but I have a lot of stuff on my mind.
My band should be recording at some point in the near future. We have a show at PSU on January 20th. If you would like details, let me know and I'll get them to you as soon as they become available. http://myspace.com/takanawarock
That's about it. What's up with you? |

THE RULES: List five songs that you are currently loving. It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.
Post these instructions, the artists, and the songs in your blog (Xanga). Then tag five other Xanga friends to see what they're listening to.
1. Throwdown - Baby Got Back
2. Coheed and Cambria - The Willing Well I: Fuel for the Feeding End
3. The Turnpike Affair - Life Vest
4. Between the Buried and Me - All Bodies
5. The Rolling Stones - Paint It Black
Hmm...I tag Jack, Adriana, Ashley, Kristen, and Sara.
Stressful week, decent weekend. Back to the grind.
RIP Grandad | |
