Where is Angela?

Nobody played the "Find Angela in the Chicago Bean," Game.
Anyways, for those of you who were curious (and I'm sure there were quite a number of you), I located myself in the Chicago Bean.

I've become fond of this quote: "When I'm trusting and being myself, everything else in my life reflects this by falling into place easily, often miraculously," - Shakti Gawain.

That could easily sum up my summer break -- and I am fortunate to have experienced something so pleasant as being able to trust myself and those around me. There's more to it than that, but you get the idea. It's refreshing being so comfortable and happy in my own skin. I hope everyone gets to experience someday.

There's exactly one month left until I begin my final year at Virginia Tech. I don't exactly know how to feel about that -- there will be too much going on at the same time. Thinking about the upcoming academic year gives me headaches and ulcers. I still have to move out of my old apt and into my new one.

I think I finally got the shopping bug out of me. It took long enough and my bank account took a big hit.

I don't have any closing remarks. But I did have a cup of coffee and a chocolate scone for breakfast. And the weekend is right around the corner -- that means dance machine party time!

Chicago exceeded any and all expectations. Around every corner there was a little suprise waiting for me -- usually with a Mimosa or Bloody Mary in hand and an obnoxious French dish, specifically the Crab Louiex a la Ralph Lauren Grillex. Details forthcoming.

quick update -- i have lost all will to live. fuck the french (pardon my french), but now that korea, brasil, and portugal have been knocked out (due to the french), i will search longingly to survive until the 9th. i expect italy to win or God have mercy on all french souls.

another not-so-quick update with pictures! ze cool!

can you find me in the chicago bean?
