| So, it's been ages since the last update, but last night was definitely one worth noting. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was one of those nights that definitely redeems living in the Antelope Valley -- though those moments do not come too often, when they do, they're always worth a million words.
We went to the fair last night. After gorging ourselves on turkey legs, funnel cake, deep-fried twinkies, shaved ice, and butter dipped corn... we headed towards the concert. It was a clear warm summer night with a beautiful desert backdrop...

We watched the Charlie Daniel's Band play "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" live as well as Lonestar who performed all my favorite songs. It was "like a midsummer's dream under a star-soaked sky.
That peaceful easy feelin' at the end of a long, long road." We also saw a meteor that burned bright green and a lunar eclipse with a faded red tint.
It as just a pretty pretty night. :)

| This was an actual sign we saw painted on the wall of the hangar for Soarin' Over California at California Adventure.
"ONLY YOU HAVE THE ANSWER TO THE FOD PROBLEM"
| So, we finally had our housewarming yesterday.... here are a few pics to recap the night:
My lovely roomies, Jeannine, Julie, and Pam
Dustin, friendly Auggie, Scott, and Mike toasting to a good time
Rosie, me, and Seth... cheese
Just to give you an idea of how packed it was!
| Woah, it's been a while since my last update. I blame it on my lack of internet, but we are FINALLY hooked up. Wow, it feels good to be back in thew 21st century. So we went to Big Bear last weekend, and here are a few pics to recap our amazingly fun time:
It snowed.... a lot.
And it was really cold! Check out the outside temperature... 5 degrees!
I guess we didn't realize there was no need to scrunch.. or maybe we were all falling over.
Looks like Brad's chewing some candy... so is Brent
Apparently, Brian doesn't like to be hugged.
Josh and Katie... because Katie liked this picture.
| In the span of one week, three of my friends have gotten engaged! What an exciting time! | | |
