| to happy hour or not to happy hour. it's sad when people in the elevator recognize me from happy hour but i've never seen them before. i have an etiquette book, on how to act in odd situations... i should look that up. i love learning universal sayings to use when you've kicked yourself in the butt. it's a free pass for only $19.95. summer school stinks, almost makes me want to put in an extra load next semester and graduate early. i think i can do it, i'd just have to commute to gwinnett. dang that's so far, especially with traffic. let me see, 10 minute commute to buckhead or 1.5 hour commute to gwinnett... tough one. well, it's better than my classmate. commuting from macon. crazy. volunteer orientation this saturday. it's going to take a lot for me to wake up early... blah, about nothing. enjoy. | | |
| xanga changed!Cool, Xanga is changing. I won't know how to update anymore. Anyway, I wanted to share Van Gogh's garden when I went to France. It's right outside of the public library in Arles. I even stopped by a bridge he painted and made famous. France was amazing, I have to do it again. Of course when the USD gets stronger. Geeshhhh.
Next stop, China or India? I'm thinking India since my boyfriend is Chinese and swears to take me there one day... | | |
| I quit Sparks. A few people at my apartment complex are starting a book club and somehow they convinced me to join. You know, I've never been able to keep track of Oprah's book club. So how does it work? People discuss about it on a message board? What about those that leak spoilers? I wonder... but I've always pictured book clubs with a bunch of girls- gossiping. It's not bad gossiping because it's fiction and nothing's personal. How much fun is that? Gossiping and not getting in trouble or feeling guilty about it. :) Someone's supposed to bring a bottle of wine each month that we meet. It's kind of weird, four of the women are teachers... I feel sort of old. Odd enough, I'm pretty excited. I hope I can fit this in along with school and work. | | |
| Nicholas Sparks tsk tsk. How the hell is he going to write a book and the two main characters don't end up together? Dude, I literally cried through the 2nd half of the book. He builds up the main character throughout the book and in the end he's all alone! The girl, who cheats on him, is the one that ends up happy. I mean really, you just fall in love with the characters and die for them to be together. I'm so disappointed. It's not fulfilling! They should have been together, I'm going to read another one of his books before school starts next week. If he makes the ending sad like this one, I'll be on a Nicholas Sparks strike and will need to find a different author to read. It's going to take me days to get over this one. | | |
