| I went to this lady’s house to sell and deliver a drawing that I have worked on all week. I parked my truck on her driveway, which is pretty much a hill. And lately I’ve been having trouble with my truck staying in park. This is not sounding good is it. Well as I was talking with her, she started yelling with a very panicked look on her face. I turned around to look out the window and saw my truck rolling. I ran out the door to try to catch it. I have no idea what I would of done if I would have caught it, but I had no better idea. It rolled down her driveway, backwards, into her beautiful yard, missed a tree, rolled into the street, rolled across the street, luckily no house was across the street, it finally stopped. Her yard did have some tire marks through it, along with a few holes where my grill dug into her yard. Then later that day I decided to go look for arrowheads on the old family farm. Sometimes I go arrowhead hunting because its kind of relaxing. But then I get my truck stuck in the mud. I try digging my truck out with a shovel, but nothing works. And I lost my cell phone. So I walked home. It’s a good thing I watch Man vs. Wild on the Discovery Channel. I may not have made it trough that thirty minute walk home. Haha. Anyway my truck spent the night in the mud and rain which made me kind of nervous. Till the next morning when my neighbor pulled it out with his tractor. Besides a slight vibration, my truck is ok. I hope it's just the tires. | | |
| I have been collecting cameras for the last year. Every once in a while, when I have nothing to say, I will share my collection with you. Today I will start off with a fun one. I remember a day long long ago when everyone had a pocket camera. That was a good day. | | |
| Tonight I hung out at a super bowl party with my brother in law and his work friends. I felt kind of awkward. That usually happens when I'm hanging around guys that are bigger and older than me and there all drinking beer, and I don't know any of them. I thought about walking all casual to the cooler, get a Corona, talk about the game, act like I care who wins, eat some buffalo wings. or I could do the usual and just stand in one place and say nothing, and eat buffalo wings. I choose plan two, and I drank a Coke. Which is really not a better choice. Then I started thinking, Coke is more addictive and probably more destructive to our society than Coronas will ever be. Your mind thinks a lot when your just standing there. As it turns out some one asked if I wanted to play a game of pool. Then I got into some conversation about how funny the super bowl commercials were. Then I meet this guy that knew the same people that I knew, he even dated my cousin in high school. Finally I ended up being a designated driver. | | |
| Today was interesting. I saw a lot of people I knew. I like those kind of days. But I meet everyone in the oddest places. I also meet this little old lady. She ran into my truck. And added another dent to the already tortured passenger side of my truck. I really don't care any more. I just don't like the constant airy sound that gets louder the faster I go. I turn my music up really loud now. She said she didn’t see me. That’s odd, since I drive a big red truck. | | |
| Sleet on the out side of a car is a common sight, but not as common as inside your car. It can happen if you leave your windows down all night on a night that it just happens to sleet all night. It's pretty cool. | | |
